I have heard that Jo Malone cologne is great for people who normally can't wear fragrance.  I know nothing about the line.  What do you know?  Thanks in advance.

They have unusual fragrances and many can be combined.  Amazon has a good selection of mini sprays for a few dollars each.  It's a good way to try them.  I did not order any full size fragrance, because I didn't like anything enough to spend $90+.

A coworker of mine always smells great, she uses Jo Malone Blue Agave and Orange Blossom.

I've never heard that. Jo Malone makes many perfumes and some are stronger than others. Some seem to be long lasting and others aren't. I have two candles that I love the scents of (Peony & Blush & French Lime Blossom) but I've never purchased any of the perfumes as I seem to gravitate more to the classics like Guerlain, Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana & Prada. Nordstroms, Saks, Bloomingdales & Neiman Marcus all sell Jo Malone. If you have a Nordstroms near you, you can make samples of whatever scents you'd like to try. I usually do this and wear a sample several times before making a purchase as I learned the hard way when a couple of scents turned on me. Hopefully someone else may have more knowledge of whether people who are scent sensitive can wear Jo Malone perfumes.

Jo Malone makes wonderful candles...expensive but lovely scents.  I have found that the perfumes have no lasting power and aren't worth the money.  They will give you lots of samples at their counters in Bloomingdales and Nordstroms.

It's a great brand. I think the scents were better when she was part of the company and Pomegranate Noir (one of my favorites) was the last scent she created after parting ways with Lauder. Some of the most iconic fragrance are probably Orange Blossom, Grapefruit, Lime Basil Mandarin. The Wood Sage & Sea Salt from last year or so is also really nice. Worth trying out for sure, if you have a department store in your area, they're usually good with samples.

Agree about the candles - they're superb and worth the splurge.

It's probably because her fragrances are in cologne concentrations (lighter than eau de toilettes, which are lighter than eau de parfums). Of course, this also the reason that many rate them poorly for longevity. And on top of that, they are priced comparably to high-end eau de parfums.

That said, they have a nice selection and many fans.

In my thirties, I'm finding more and more fragrances irritate me.  Jo Malone has become my go-to brand.  I spent three months in London at the beginning of this year, and would visit the counter to try various fragrances.  They are more "pure" to my nose than others.

Over time you find your favorites and since they are generous with samples, can begin combining fragrances.  They offer suggestions for combinations on their site.

I'm enjoying the new Mimosa and Cardamom layered with Wood Sage and Sea Salt.  I also own Blue Agava and Cocoa (scrumptious), Peony and Blush Suede, Grapefruit and Red Roses.

I have a candle in Blackberry and Bay.  The scent is very pure.

The small size fragrance is $60.  For a luxury brand, I think that's reasonable.  They often come out with sampler sets this time of year.

I got a set from Nordstrom with fragrance, candle & shower gel. Blackberry Bay was the scent. I wasn't wowed by any of it. I am sensitive to fragrance but I have found a few that work for me & Iove. Not quite as pricey as Jo Malone.

Thanks, everyone.  I ordered some samples.  I love perfume/ cologne,so I had to give these a try. The layering thing fascinates me.
