The shine drops are "potent". I turn my head upside down (after hair's dry) and rub the oil between my hands, don't need very much, rub it through my hair from underneath. When I did it the first time I rubbed it along the surface and it was a "bit much".

@Shanus ...a bit much...is it oily/greasy??

I have fine hair, it doesn't take much to weigh it down, and don't want anything oily.

@Dazlin I don't find them oily or greasy but you don't need much.  I also have fine hair that is past my shoulders and I use about 4 drops.

Re: JVN HAIR PRODUCTS, MY REVIEW...

@Dazlin   Are we talking about the Oil Drops or Scalp Oil? Scalp Oil is the yellow one. Oil Drops, I put a small amount from one dropper into my hands and rub them together and then into hair starting in the back where my hair is thicker Smiley Happy. I put it in my hands like hand lotion so the oil gets deposited under and over my hair.

I've just recently started the shine drops.  I returned the Morroccanoil shine drops because it weighed down my hair.  I did see shine with those tho.  I don't really see shine with the JVN but I like what it does to my dry hair.  I don't have any frizz, but makes it look a little sleeker BUT the next day is when the chunckiness and separation shows up better (2nd day hair is always better tho) The aroma is what initially grabbed my attention with the Morroccanoil and I do love the leave in conditioner.  JVN also has a very nice aroma but it's short lived.  That's too bad.  He should make a hair perfume.

@monicakm , I ordered both the shine drops and air dry cream, on sale, $25, full size for both.    I'd love to see more shine, but the other products are doing enough for that.  If not, I have other lines that do a great job on shine.  My daughter is  a hairstylist and brings me tons of products.

Wow you are getting very cold weather!

I'm in Central Florida and we expect low 30's tomorrow night through Sunday...I dont mind one bit...I like the change.  It only lasts a couple of days here.  Nice for Christmas 🎄

@Dazlin   I have yet to try a JVN product that I haven't loved.

I'm going to take a look at the air dry cream.  Enjoy your cold weather while it lasts.  We've finally made it up to 22 degrees as of right now (feels like is 10 degrees).  Last night's low was 9.  I don't remember the windchill but we had gusts of probably 25 mph.  No precip and clear skies.

I saw my hairdresser while out tonight.  She never gets to see the end result (styled).  She loved how I style it and commented on the luster and how healthy it looked.  It was actually 3 day old hair and every day I apply 4 drops of the shine drops so it had the piece-y look I like.  I'm enjoying the shine drops.  Thanks to whoever it was that suggested them!

Re: JVN HAIR PRODUCTS, MY REVIEW...

@monicakm   I prefer that JVN has such a light fragrance. It doesn't interfere w/ my perfumes. The Moroccanoil products had a stronger frangrance that lingered. I do have the bath soap and shower gel for at night in the tub.
