I just opened my Josie's TSV, two supersize body butters with pumps. I purchased unscented as always. Much to my disappointment, the texture is NOT the same. Is is thick & difficult to rub into skin. All my previous body butters were light, fluffy & absorbed into skin with very little effort. I have also used th body butter on my face with grest results. This TSV set make my eyes burn. Never had that problem before. Has anyone else noticed this with their TSV? I love Josies's products & I will be crushed if she's doing the old bait & switch on her loyal customers. Any thoughts?

@lindseyemmie   Is there a date on it? It could be from an older batch or was spoiled in shipping because of the weather. Either way, I'd return it and write "damaged" on the return form.

I didn't buy that TSV because I already have a few in my stash. I'm sorry to learn this because this pump style is a new item; so I doubt it would be old. 

I also use the unscented body butter on my face because I'm not a fan of her face butter.  I really hope the formula hasn't changed. I have noticed the scented butters are more runny than the unscented.

@lindseyemmie  - The pumps are new so there's no way it could be old stuff.  I wouldn't say it was damaged either.  Perhaps the formula changed a little.  Maybe you can call Josie's Customer Service team and ask.

I have read here that the unscented was thicker.

I bought the cucumber melon & it's the same winning consistency, etc of all the previous Josie's body butters I've enjoyed to date  - I'm loving the light crispy scent too

I also only buy Josie's body butter in unscented.  I've been using her body butter in the large pump jar since her TSV from November 2021:

Yes, it is noticeably thicker.  In fact, I have to knock it around several times to get the inside to settle without the hole in the middle that forms from pumping.  Every few applications feels like it's empty inside because it stops pumping out. When I take off the top I see the open well in the middle.

However, I don't find it hard to rub into my skin at all.  In fact, I use less because a little goes a long way.  I find I'm using less of it per application, to get the same results.  It's still luxurious and my favorite body butter, just thicker.
