My experience with this product is that it feels wonderful when applying it and does leave a glow on the skin, but when I shower, I can feel that it is still laying on my skin which makes me wonder if it is actually being absorbed into my skin.

That's why I don't use it.  It felt like it never absorbed into my skin.

@D Kay   thank you for verifying your experience.   I canceled all my auto ship of it.  I have lots of beekman body creams and so far they are very good at absorbing and I don't get that feeling when I shower.  The one practice I do like from JM is her Milk for the face.  Other than that not buying any more of her products

@Teddixat Exfoliate is the key to have any creams, lotion or serums absorb into our skin.

@pugvette74   I exfoliate every time I shower but I first rinse off which is why I know it's not absorbing into my skin

And I feel the opposite. Someone gifted me Beekman. I use it on my legs because I did not like it on my arms. I feel the Beekman just sits on top of my skin for hours. I have been using JM body butter for a few years. I feel it sinks into my skin and leaves a soft glow. If I try something new I always go back to the JM, love it.

@Janey2    I guess we all have different experiences.   I also use Korres Olive which I like too.

Re: JM argon Oil Body Butter

I love JM products but they are not the only products I use.  I love body butter and though I love JM's, I do try others.  I find Beekman rolls off when I rub my skin afterward and being it's right after I shower it has to be Beekman but I love the scent Honey-Grapefruit and will continue to use it.  However, I just tried SKINN's PEP40 and I am hooked so I am using different products in different areas so I can get the scents I want as well as using a product that has different purposes.  Korres is also in my arsenal of body butter products.

If you feel that your body isn't absorbing, use less and make sure you really massage it in because a little bit of butter goes a long way.  They aren't like regular lotions you would purchase from the drug store.

SKINN's PEP40 doesn't have water in it and it leaves my skin feeling firm, very smooth, with an extremely light scent,

Re: JM argon Oil Body Butter

The purpose of an oil product is to have it sit on top of the skin as a barrier to help prevent water loss from the skin as well as a surface-protectant from the other things which your skin might come in contact with. Oils seal in and keep out, depending on which way you use them.
