I just wanted to thank you for all the information you gave on this board and the very specific help you gave to me personally for choosing colors.

I really love this hair color and have no plan to go back to using permanent. My scalp started feeling better from the first use of Ion Demi color (no ammonia). It barely itches any more and is not sensitive at all.

The Ion Demi colored my gray so much better than any permanent color ever did! I was so pleased to rinse it out and see no gray still showing on the sides of my face and temples. Usually with permanent, no matter how long I left it on, there was still gray there, even when adding Gray Magic. And the Demi was so easy to use. Thick and creamy, not a mess like the permanent color. Stayed put on my head, didn't drip or splatter when I was applying it. And no ammonia = no strong smell. Yay.

The color is darker than I had before and it must be closer to my natural color because it's been a few weeks now since I colored and I still don't see the line of new growth coming in! It's fabulous. I was coloring with permanent every 4-5 weeks anyway, so this Demi will last just as long on me. I got a Roux Tween Times crayon to touch up my roots and I haven't even gotten to try it out yet. I can't believe I'm not seeing gray yet. I will definitely stick with this brand.
