It cc cream regular vs illumination shades

Does anyone else find the cc illumination cream slightly darker than the regular cc cream? I love both, this has just been my experience.

I thought it was the opposite.  My medium illumination is lighter than the medium shade in the regular formula.

I find the illumination is lighter than the regular cc cream. I use light and it is definitely lighter in the illumination version. I actually combine them.

I find the illumination lighter than the original. I use medium in both.

Ha! You're right, the illumination cc is lighter..meant to say that, but mixed it up! Sometimes I combine both formulas.
