I had the book in my cart and decided that I just didn't need it. I have had other complete palettes in the past, that simply were not reached for. I saved myself a few bucks.

Same here, @Jacie   I kept trying to convince myself that it would be convenient for travel, but in reality there are several parts of the "book" that wouldn't get used.  It boils down to the fact that if I'm packing a beauty case anyway, it's no big deal to take my usual go to's and not have to make do with something just because it's all in one place.

@JeanLouiseFinch I didn't buy it either.  I wanted it, but knew I wouldn't really use it.  I have two books and I do pack one when we go on our yearly ski trip, but I know that the only time I would use it would be for the flight home.  I don't bother with makeup while on the trip.  And since we had to wear masks on the flights, I didn't bother then either.  I do use just the No More Pores and highlighter from one of the books when I apply my makeup at home, but rarely even look at the other parts.

On another thread, someone talked about carrying it in their purse.  I think it's too big and heavy for that and not convenient for touch ups anyway.

@RollTide2008 I wouldn't do that.  I usually have a foundstion compact and a couple of lip options in my purse, for touchups after eating or if the lip needs freshening, but once my face and eye makeup is done, that's it until it comes off at night.  There's no need, IMO, to carry all of that extra stuff.

I carry the same.  I also have an eyebrow pencil and a mini mascara, but I've never used them and don't know how they got there.  I don't want to have to use a brush to touch up in public.  That seems messy.

I wish they would have made this year's version warm shades instead of the cool/neutrals from last year.
