In case you haven't seen the blog posts, spoilers and sneak peeks yet: the It Cosmetics TSV coming up on the 19th is reported to include the CC cream - normally presented in a tube - but now packaged in a compact with a single-dose delivery mechanism.
The standard size CC cream is a little over 1 oz, sold all over town for $38. The "super size" available seasonally on QVC (also included in last January's TSV) sells for $54 and is 2.53 oz.
Ulta offers a "travel size" CC cream, in a comparatively tiny tube with a twist top instead of the pump, for $15. That contains 0.40oz.
Musings of a Muse has a preview of January 19th's TSV on her blog, and I asked her how much product is in the CC cream compact. She said it's 0.47oz.
Keep this in mind when you see the "sold separately" price claims. I don't doubt that they'll sell the compact separately for $30+ but it's less than HALF AN OUNCE of product!!
Don't get me wrong - I'm totally buying this TSV. I have tons of the CC cream on backup, and I'm hoping we can somehow or another refill the compact. Regardless, I'm sure it'll still be a good value. Just a heads up on quantity!

Thanks for the info! I'm going to give it a try. Hopefully the compact is refillable.

Oh, no. I hadn't thought to check the amount of product in the compact! That's a disappointing number, even though it's slightly better than the .34 oz CC+ Veil Beauty Fluid Foundation. I may have to rethink my purchase now. Everything's new, so I'll probably still cave, but that's a shame that a full size foundation product gives you less than half an ounce. It can't be expected to last that long with daily use. Oh, well. Maybe now I have an excuse to buy their Bye Bye Foundation that's coming soon
. Thanks for sharing, haleypie!

I'd probably buy the kit for the brush alone!

Their brushes are amazing. When they 1st came to the Q, I got the kit. I couldn't use the powders, but I kept the kit for the brushes. Then I bought other brushes on Ebay. They have been washed many times, and are still like new.

I'll be curious to see if it's at all refillable as well. I love the cream in a tube and not sure why they needed to put it in a compact, but if it is refillable that will make blending shades a lot easier for me - most of the time I'm medium but in summer I'm tan and actually a blend of both would probably be perfect year round. I have a whole super size tube in my cabinet I could use to refill it. Gosh if I can find that out ahead of time that will make a difference in which shade I order.
