It Cosmetics Celebration Foundation Question.

since I am probably going to pick up the TSV, I thought I would take advantage of the Double up on the It Celebration foundation. Am I correct in thinking that the colors run on the dark side in this product. Therefore, if I am normally light, I should pick up the fair shade. Thanks.

No, fo rme anyway I have found their foundation runs lighter,usually I wear a Tan and IT Cosmetics Tan was too light for me!!!!!!!I can use it in the winter months though!

I find the shades to run light also. The IT Illumination foundation tends to run dark.

I am very fair and fair is extremely light even for me. I would stick with light at least if I were you. Do you have an Ulta store nearby where you can check the color out?

The Fair/Light shades seem to be the only two Celebration foundations which have proper color to my eyes. The Medium looks dark in the case. On the skin the Tan and Dark are reddish. The Illumination version is simply a hot shiny mess in all of the colors. I don't know what Jamie and her product developers were thinking with that formula since IT seems to take such pride in offering makeup which allows the user to look like an enhanced version of themselves-- not overly made up.

I think that the shade "medium" ran a bit light, but I still like it.

Well, in light of what I have read, I will order in the light shade. That appears to be my best bet.

You would think companies would either have a set color guideline for all of their foundations to make life easier for their customers. It just seems like common-sense. If I am light in the CC cream, I should be light in all of the other foundations.

I think the shades run on the light side. I normally wear a medium and in the IT foundation I buy the tan. I actually purchased the medium and it was too light for me so I exchanged it for tan. I stick with tan in all her products and I am not tan at all.
