It Cosm. Holiday up on site--disappointing

I see they have a holiday selection up now. I am disappointed. I have seen everything on the page already. Ulta has lots of it. New shades of things would have been nice. I don't know if the little e/s palette is new shades, I don't think so just glancing. I don't believe lines have to do new, new, new all the time either. I would rather see a good selection and good quality. That said, last year they did a lip trio with a shade I was hoping would reappear as it is not available otherwise. I know another thread here has mentioned the new little multi-palette here at the Q that has all the same e/s shades, just new lippies. Not a fan of lippies in palettes like that anyway. They get powder in them and who wants to lug a palette around to reapply/touch-up? I don't know, it just didn't make me happy looking at the selection. You? ~smiles, SnowKita -kinda rambly sorry

I haven't been impressed either with what I've seen. It makes me glad I got the full set of lipsticks last year and the cute buki brushes.

@SnowKita I don't particularly care for the all inclusive palettes either. IMO, they get messy. Plus, nothing gets used up at the same rate. Theoretically, you could have a big ol' palette with all the foundation or blush used up and still have lots of eyeshadow and lippies left. Plus there's the storage issue for those big things. Nope, they just aren't for me.

As for IT - I can't say for sure, but maybe they'll add more products as we approach the holiday shopping season. I'm pretty sure they offered a discount code or free shipping last year on Black Friday.

I bought both of those. It would be nice to buy the lipsticks again. I really like those. The only Holiday Kit I may buy would be the Your Je Ne Sais Quoi! Limited Edition. I already have their travel brush set.

Last year they had Friends & Family 25% off in Nov. I received the email on the 17th of Nov. The sale ended on the 24th last year so the sale should be starting soon.

I still have three of the tubes unopened, going to start the new year off with them, LOL. I've been using previously purchased tubes and should be out about then. I won't be without Damsel and Rose Flush.

What is really sad is that I can't even FIND the holiday kits on the It site! I'm on an IPad and there is no "Holiday" section, and even when I click on "What's new" I don't see any holiday sets....help!? Or on second though, since I'm not missing anything, never mind...

In case you change your mind I just checked the It site on the iPad. Their homepage opens New! your holiday It shop. Click on it & it opens a page showing the holiday items.
