Re: Issues with Skinn Products

I've just never been intrigued to try anything from this line!

I realize some things work synergistically, but I have some issues when product formulations have everything in them, plus the kitchen sink!

Yes..someone took it with their cell phone at an XMas party in December..I WAS wearing his “candlelight powder”  that night. ( I think that is what it’s called I got in a kit)

The Candlelight powder is awesome!  A little goes a long way and that compact is going to last a long time. If you wear sleeveless,  dust it on shoulders (and décolleté)

Also, I think that was a rude question about the use of a filter (kind of a back handed passive aggressive 'compliment)

@Mothertrucker You look stunning! Skinn obviously suits you well!

I picked up the Candlelight powder on a recent Hautelook  sale. It is lovely.

oh geez...after reading these replies I am sorry I ordered the TS....anyone have good results with the pep40?

The pep40 serum broke me out...I have normal skin and haven’t broken out in years. I do not find it very moisturizing either...not drying but, well, just like I didn’t put anything on.

Why in the world would you put Salicylic Acid in Creme Reverse? It's used to prevent shine so it would absolutly No Value in a moisturizer.  I called my Derm Doc & he told me not to use it anyway...not sure if you were being silly here???

Unless I'm totally missing it, @wenfen, I don't see any Salicylic Acid in the Creme Reverse.  However, it's a treatment ingredient found in many acne products.

Ingredients:

Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Capric/Caprylic Triglyceride, Squalane, Trifluoroacetyl Tripeptide-2, Acetyl Glutamyl Heptapeptide-3, Hydrolyzed Manihot Esculenta Extract, Palmitoyl Oligopeptide, Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7, Hydroxypropyl Cyclodextrin, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-38, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) Oil, Cetyl Alcohol, Stearyl Alcohol, Butylene Glycol, Pyrus Malus (Apple) Extract, Spilanthes Acmella Flower Extract, Albizia Julibrissin Bark Extract, Lecithin, Hyaluronic Acid, Pichia (Resveratrol) Ferment Extract, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-37, Niacinamide, Disodum Adenosine Triphosphate, Hydrolyzed Oat Protein, Aspalathus Linearis (Red Rooibos) Tea Extract, Panax Ginseng Root Extract, Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate, Tocopheryl Acetate, Daucus Carota Sativa (Carrot) Seed Oil, Phospholipids, Sphingolipids, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Chlorphenesin, Dimethicone, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Superoxidase Dismutase, Ubiquinone (Coenzyme Q10), Magnesium Aspartate, Zinc Gluconate, Copper Gluconate, Carbomer, Xanthan Gum, Disodium EDTA.

It is commonly used to exfoliate and peel..this is why it has been so efective in acne products  for decades
