Re: Isomers this Weekend Mar 1

@Shelbelle

I finally found it as part of a trio of eye products, but I wanted individual bottles.

Those don't seem to be listed today unless I'm missing them.

I did see the trio of eye products, that is a good buy, the R one is usually pricey on its own, I have used that and like it. It is soy based for mature women. I also use the eye peel once a week.

Maybe I'm blind, but I could not find this product on their site.  I've used it in the past, but ran out.

They have something for tightening, but it's not called "fast lift."  Have they changed the name to Mesmer-Eyez Tightening Eye Formula?

Thanks.

@Witchy Woman I ordered before the shows yesterday as I was going to be out n about.. The price was good & I wasn't sure it would last when I got back at night. Well, it didn't like I suspected. Keep an eye, There maybe bounce backs if people cancel.

@Shelbelle

I only saw short term benefits, but not sure about long-term.

At 73, I'm not expecting miracles.  Thankfully, my skin is great already (genetics) and not many lines.   I've taken good care of my face (and body) for most of my adult life.

While I like this product, I've learned I can live without much skin care and buy a variety.

The free shipping is a sales tactic.  They rise the price on the item and you "think" you are getting a deal by getting free shipping.

Re: Isomers this Weekend Mar 1

Isomers prices had increased much before the free s&h promotion. This visit I see most products at the same price as it used to be except maybe some items like matrixyl & copper p. But shophq routinely plays pricing games during Manuela's visits. I have seen higher sale prices on the matrixyl & copper p before.

There are some good deals on Simple science & single items like 2% salicylic which is at a regular price of $12, now ships free. There are some lip trios at a good price & the free s&h makes it an attractive single item purchase for most people. All is not lost yet.

I am skeptical because it's shophq but the skin care companies that left them for HSN like Active Argan, Skinn now have luxury brand pricing. Beekman on the other hand has great deals at HSN.

@Shelbelle What I noticed for myself is that, if the damage has already been done skincare will not reverse it. If it's genetic, no skin care will help. Skincare is more like preventative care, you can postpone the inevitable to a certain extent.

I use most of my serums around my eye, so it is not an area of concern for me yet. I don't use heavy creams, the Perlier night serum is the heaviest serum I use around the eye. It's creamy but yet light. I like it to seal in the moisture.

I agree with you, I think of skin care as preventtive maintenance and just tell myself that if I stop using anything who knows what will happen, so I keep buying and buying, thanks

To correct damage you really need to delve into the RX retinoid world.  I too use skincare items as preventative care.  They had a Carnosine serum I LOOOOVED but they discontinued it when anti-glycation attributes in skincare went out of trend!
