wrote:Ladies, thank you for the heads up regarding the mesmereyez duo. I just ordered it from her website.
I saw Manuela with not a stitch of makeup yesterday during her last show and her skin looked flawless. She had a bit of dark circles under her eyes which she said were hereditary. Even so, I thought it was very brave of her to face the cameras with not even a hint of mascara or concealer.
I have never been an overly sensitive person, but it seems the older I get the more that I cannot take cruelty between people and animals. I just don't get it. And because of how our current enviornment is, I like visiting forums where we can just keep it light and talk about fun things. But man, it seems like this darkness is invading everything.
@beautybee - I agree - it's disturbing and sad. Toxic. But love always prevails! I won't let it impact or deter me. xoxo

Since I couldn't order the mesmer-eyez I ordered the elysee eye serum duo which was on sale yest. I do have the isomers eye lift. I use the combination & it has worked well so far. the shipping on isomers site is $11.73 CAD if you don't order the special web offers.
Honestly between all the various lines, I really don't need anything else. I saw someone selling skin care (estate) items on ebay & chuckled....That could be my stash someday So nothing for me this visit!

I believe that what you put out in life comes back to you X7. So people who put out negative vibes have to live in a really negative world. It's really sad and stressful for them. I just feel bad for them that they don't know they are doing it to themselves. I try to put out positive, or at least constructively honest, thoughts and ideas. And I work hard to stop myself from posting defensive responses, because that also adds to negativity. (Not always totally succesfully!)
I think we're really fortunate to be able to discuss products and vendors from other networks here on QVC's forum. This is a popular and populated and moderated forum. That's really rare. Something to appreciate for sure.
I think the tradeoff may be that vendors and hosts from other networks are not as protected here as those from QVC. Unkind comments may not be removed as often or as quickly when they are directed at vendors from other networks. I'll just take the bad with the good and notice which posters are the prickly cactuses to watch out for and which ones are not.

This post has been removed by QVC because it discusses posts that were previously deleted for containing retail discount codes.

wrote:@sonechko - it's great to see you posting again! You are a great Isomers resource for us
Love Manuela
Isomers has made a difference for me. The Glutathiosome and Matrixyl are game changers. I love her eye products and masks.
My1st Isomers purchase I tried the body products -that amazing Body Goddess kit from several years ago started my Isomers journey!
Thanks @Chi-town girl! Could not respond sooner - I was put in the forum jail, you know what for. Lol. Still I am glad to be of assistance in any way I could, regardless of the price and happy it helped many. Hope, you ladies've enjoyed the great deals and items that were presented during this visit. I know I have!
@sonechko - oh geez...well, I thank you again and glad to see you back! You are very knowledgeable and helpful with Isomers. I love this brand and I love Manuela
I find it soooo sad and troubling to read the daily 'tear down' of women here based on gossip, rumors and judgements about their looks. That troll poster yesterday was targeting you via Manuela. And the moderators let it run. Another poster said the next target is Chaz given the upcoming WEN visit.
Thin shaming is acceptable here. There are host and vendor bashers that run around daily posting inappropriate baiting threads about QVC hosts and vendors. This is Q's own platform and the moderators let these trolls harass QVC shoppers.
And this is a slice of society, any wonder why women are harrassed and abused by men in the workplace? They see how little support many women have for other women - cannibals.
I so agree with you on this subject, @Chi-town girl! This bothers me a lot,
when people talk so nasty about public persons, vendors and hosts. I can't stand how this is allowed to pollute our forums with hatred and fights.
What bothers me the most, is that the mods actually allow these nasty threads! They quickly delete posts of people who come to defend the object of mean attacks! How do you like that?
These nasty threads mostly involve Chaz Dean, and now unfortunately, they got to Manuela.....
I am going to look into why these hate threads are allowed here by mods, what are QVC policies in this subject. I would like to know, if their highers like having so many hate threads polluting our public forums.
@sonechko... a lot of my posts defending Manuela were removed yesterday. It left a really bad taste in my mouth. I thought perhaps because Manuella is competition? Whatever the reason, a lot of that thread broke every Standard of Participation that QVC claims is part of posting here.
@Trinity11 @sonechko - there is seriously something off with that poster, and who knows the motivation, but what is eveident - disruption, personal insults, baiting, arguing, cruelty.
Why is Q allowing it? Truly bizarre. It's not driving sales to their site nor did it negatively impact Isomers sales. Manuela had a very successful visit. And we scored some great deals/products
Can I suggest that we no longer respond on that other thread, specifically not to that poster or the OP that started a gossip/bait thread? Don't feed it! Let it combust.
It's not worth our energy or the risk of getting time out.
Peace + Love xoxo
You nailed it @Chi-town girl! Agree with every word you said. I actually do not have problems with ignoring real strange characters posting, but I do have a big problem with moderating team NOT see this as - "disruption, personal insults, baiting, arguing, cruelty" polluting our Beauty Board.
This is precisely WHY I do not like to come here much any longer, and gone for month at the time - it pains me to see hate spewing posts and NOTHING is being done about them!
I do find our board is moderated unfairly - really bad stuff is allowed, any kind of objecting to it, is found "baiting" and "innapropriate".
Something is seriously wrong.

It's not only Manula who's being viciously attacked, @Porcelain.
QVC own vendor Chaz Dean is traduced on BB much worth and often. Same story - lots of venom spewed on WEN and Chaz, and mostly, posts in defense of Chaz are usually removed by mods.

@sonechko I understand your concerns about the moderation. I'm finding more and more to ignore here to the point I do not post much about QVC items.
The permissive Q host and vendor bashing has hurt Q sales. My shopping at Q continues to decline and one of the reasons is bc of the 'experience' here.
But @Porcelain stated something up thread that gave me pause. This is so true ... "I think we're really fortunate to be able to discuss products and vendors from other networks here on QVC's forum. I skip most of the forums, baiting threads, known bashers. There is a handful of active threads that I enjoy with kind/informative posters and I enjoy new discussions about my fav brands, new beauty and fashion. That's good enough for me!

I agree with you @Chi-town girl, and I totally appreciate what's good about all-inclusiveness of QVC Boards. This is priceless to me, and I learned the most of my skincare and make up - here, because of this.
Here is the thing - my most favorite hair products are from WEN, and most favorite skincare - from Isomers. Not only these product attract me, I also very much like and RESPECT both proprietors - Chaz Dean and Manuela Marchiggiani.
So when I come to BB and see the ugliness about these people, I just not find it cool!
You see, these posters are not going ONLY after Chaz or Manuela, or whoever else they attack - they are AFTER US - the fans of these lines. They BAIT and DISRESPECT us buyers!
Somehow, very lopsided moderating perfectly allows this behavior. We are being disrespect too, as our post after post is getting poofed for "baiting", if you are simply trying to protect the vendors.
This is not right. This is why I rarely come here because this board is NOT KEPT CLEAN for all the members come and enjoy true sharing about the products.
