Hi Ladies,
I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving celebration!
I ordered the Isomers suncreen the other day. It was at a great price on their site. (I've been using EltaMD SPF 41 for years, and really love it, but couldn't pass up the great sale.)
I would like to get opinions, plesse. How do you like it? Does it rub off when you put your make up on? Does it last well throughout the day? Is it effective?
Thanks!

Isomers is the most unique sunscreen I have every used. It never absorbs into the skin so no toxicity ever. A little bit of Isomers on the face goes a long way. All other sunscreens irritate my skin so I never wear them. That being said I do not where sunscreen everyday living in Chicago the sun exposure is so minimal so I only were it when in the sun for long periods of time.

@hopi I agree it is pretty nice. I alternate it with the JM argan one. Remember even if it is cloudy you can get Sun ! I am really trying to use it every day because I was a Sun worshipper and have the spots to remind me. LOL

Thanks to both of you. I'm in south Florida, so my day begins with sunscreen!

hopi, when you say it never absorbs so there's no toxicity, that's why I tend to choose physical sunscreens, but many of them feel awful. Will you please describe the texture of Isomers sunscreen and what it feels like after you've applied it?

@ProductGuy, I received the sunscreen a few days ago. It's a very thick, white cream. I JUST applied it, and it to the touch, it feels like I have a cream on my face. After appliying, it is colorless. It does have a chemical sunblock as well as zinc oxide. I must not have read the description well enough. I usually only use physical blocks only. I hope it doesn't absorb! That said, I've used this for a couple of days, and have had no irritation.
I wore it yesterday, which was a very long day... many hours in the car, and four hours exploring the Kennedy Space Center (an awesome place!!!). Anyway, I applied the sunscreen between 8 and 8:30 in the morning, and then put makeup on over it. I didn't get home until after 10 pm, and didn't wash my face until after 11. To my amazement, my makeup was still on, and pretty flawless. That never happens! (I didn't apply it around my eyes, and my eye makeup wasn't flawless all those hours later... it looked pretty much the way I would expect it to after a long day). This tells me that the product didn't budge all day, and I'm impressed.

This is one of the sunscreens on my rotation. My biggest "pro" for this sunscreen is the lack of irritation.

@MarieIG ... Have you used EltaMD SPF 41? I've been using it for years. It's all physical, and has never caused any irritation to my very sensitive skin.

elta md is a great sunscreen!
i do have the isomers and have worn it and imo will only wear it on the beach in mexico. it's very good, but leaves a white cast on my skin. so many people on the beach have a white face, it's very funny. we laugh at each other!
