Isle of paradise

[ Edited ]

The body butter clearly says not to use on the face but I’m unclear which ingredient would cause problems or irritation?

Re: Isle of paradise - HIVES? Rash?

So sorry you had this annoying and painful experience.

I would be very, very careful with using that product in the future.

Everybody had different levels of sensitivities and allergies.

Sometimes you can use a product for a while and then all of a sudden you develop a  negative reaction as well.

I try to use a lot of natural ingredients like aloe on my skin whenever possible.

I am not sure why you believe you need to self-tan in the first place. You should feel comfortable in your natural skin color.  Just use some light (gentle) make-up powders to accentuate your cheeks, etc.

Sometimes we women suffer too much for "imagined" beauty rituals.

@Mrsq2022 ......Its very doubtful that being indoors had anything to do with your allergic reaction.  I would be inclined to think that it was the 2nd application that has something in it to which you are allergic.  Therefore, I would not use what ever the 2nd product was again.

Saving time & trouble. If I offend you, I am sorry.

I think you’re right and my self tanning days may be over at this point.

If the area was large, you may have also created an allergic reaction.  I learned all about that when I had a breakout on my wrist, then used laytex gloves for a while.  I'll always be highly allergic to laytex now and break out where it touches me!

@Mrsq2022

If you check Sephora you will be able to see the entire ingredient deck.  Good Luck.

I have developed a rash after using the Isle of Paradise tanning butter. I have used the drops on my face with other serums and lotions, and no rash, but I used the butter on my body and have a rash all over. I have not used anything else that is new to my skin lately.
