I am looking for advice as this is a new one for me.
We received a fairly formal invite from distant relatives. there is a response card and the works. They are both early 60's not the first marriage for either.
They are getting married (we are NOT invited to the wedding) and on another day are having an outdoor picnic (we ARE invited to the picnic).
Is a 'wedding' gift expected??
I am thinking we should make a donation in their names to a charity significant to our relative.
Thanks for any insight.
