Is there a big differnece now in Philosophy now since changing owners?

I am not currently a user of Philosophy, but friends who are say that when the buyout from Christina happened the fragrances were not the same, much like when Tova sold her line. I know that Coty, the new owners, are best known for "drug store" fragrances, which are not in themselves bad, but they do tend to use more artifical chemicals in the fragrances to lower the cost. There, I am hesitant to buy unless I can be convinces that the quality is still the same. I know the prices have NOT come down.
