Who even has matches around anymore??  I know I don't!  There are better ways to get a light by flicking a lighter among other things.  Also, how would lighting a match do the same thing since when you throw it in the water puts it out and surely it wouldn't cause a filmy coat like the oil does or do you have to keep lighting matches and throwing them in while you go??? I can afford the "overpriced" way as it is easier and not going to cause me to be broke!!

good grief, I am sure if anyone on here is at all tech savvy  you know that everything you click on browsing the internet or on your phone even, "sees" you and you then get bombarded by ads for all those things,

Just try Googling something, anything, a fleece coat and next time you go to Yahoo to sign into your email you'll see ads all over the place for fleece coats.

If you look at these items on Evine out of curiosity or interest, I can guarantee you'll start seeing ads for them. And yes, there are ad blocks and things like that but every click you make on the internet is remembered in the cyberworld.

I have no desire to start seeing ads like this at any time.

That channel is desparate to stay in business since they are so far behind the Liberty Media group so I think they went this route to do something different and grab a different part of the viewship.

I have looked at these products online and never got any adds for products like that even though I do get adds for other things I have viewed!!!

It's good business to find products that many want and buy so to sell them in a more normal atmosphere is taking the shame out of buying them!  There is nothing wrong, dirty or disgusting about it!!  Gone are the days when women were told to just lay back, close their eyes and think happy thoughts while performing their "wifely duties"!!

I do find this pretty stupid for them to be selling this kind of merchandise.

OK, I will put it out there... obviously women do buy this stuff... but come on Evine, seriously??

Odd choice for them. I mean how much can this really be increasing their bottom line?

Maybe they should concentrate more on bringing in some other lines of things in the more overall popular categories for network shopping channels such as clothing, jewelry, and home instead.

No prude here, but there are other places to buy these items. Yet, their current inventory of items in other categories is totally lacking these days.

As long as it stays on Evine.

I don't want to see those items advertised during NCIS

I'm already offended by tampon ads, the pill you take when you forget your "pill", yeast infection medicine, etc, etc.

I ignore them when it's just me, but it's awkward when watching with grown kids or grandkids.

And another thing about it being 2018.

There is no time limit on dignity or modesty.

You don't throw the match in the bowl. You light it & blow it out. The smoke from the match gets rid of any odors.

@PinkSunset Go into your online settings & click off under your settings ‘allow 3rd party cookies’. This will stop those ads from following you.

I know this is off topic but I'm just not getting how that could work as good.  Sounds like it gets rid of odors after the fact and doesn't stop the smell while going but only after so that can't be as good or does just lighting the match before you go stop the odor from happening just as the oilds do.

Poo-Pourri works fine. The article I was referring to was explaining that it is so expensive for what the product is--which is just essential oils. You can make your own for much less.  And yes, lighting the match does work.
