maybe but I think TJ et. al. buys the discontinued stuff cheap, I see it all the time 

@jackthebear   They purchase the products for a lesser price, but if discontinued, the products may also be older. At Q, they're carrying Bobbi Brown makeup that's been out of stuck for at leaset 2 or 3 years. Their (BB) CS wouldn't answer that question.
