Might you consider a moisturizer with an spf instead of a foundation?

Dermatologists recommend that you do NOT rely on your foundation for sunscreen. We simply can't apply enough foundation to get the necessary coverage, unless you want to look like a clown lol. Since you live in Florida, that's particularly important to know. How about a combination moisturizer/sunscreen, as the previous poster suggested?

Sunblock isn't just for the beach or gardening. It's for every day that you leave the house, if you care about aging or sun cancer prevention. But of course, that's your decision and I don't want to preach. Best of luck on your foundation search. 😊

Ok appreciate...i know about sunscreens, and I do use them.
Still like to hear if anyone uses a foundation with a higher spf, like the 50 spf..thanks again!

Just wondering if there's another with spf 50. I have a little left of IT, so I'd like to buy something soon. I like the foundation, but I find it a bit heavy, and needs to be blended well. I just like the fact of the high spf, and over all it's not bad looking on. If nothing else is available, I'll buy it for use on long walks, or staying outdoors...Im in Florida. My absolute favorite is regenerlift Lancome...but only 20 spf...really easy to wear, light, luminous, and so natural. I wear the IT in fair...so pass along any suggestions...THANKS!
@Dazlin Here’s my personal take on foundation w/ any SPF #. Unless you know you’re getting it entirely & evenly all over your face, ears, neck and chest, it doesn’t matter if it has SPF or not. Even when I wear the IT CC cream, I use Neutrogena SPF 50 from hairline to braline first. I’ve had too many close calls and “spots” cut for biopsies to take chances.

I use Shisiedo sunblock...i was looking to cut out the extra layer of a sunblock . That's something I add for gardening, or beaches, when I don't want make up. I like a foundation when I'm out.
@Dazlin I know I must sound like a broken record, but trying to save time, cut corners, eliminate a product to avoid extra SPF? We’re taking 5 extra minutes & an extra step....if it feels too heavy, there are plenty that do not. It’s not worth scarring your face with Mohs surgery for melanoma. Sorry. I have strong convictions about this.

@shoesnbags Don’t laugh, but I wear my sunscreen in the house, too. The sunlight comes in the windows especially in the sunroom where I sit to read. It’s second nature to me to cleanse, Vit. C, moisturizer, and SPF....from there a little makeup or not.
