I ordered the Light serum foundation in the recent IT Cosmetics TSV. In the box was a sample of the medium bye bye eye concealer in medium. I tried it and it seems much less yellow based than the Light foundation. In fact, even thought I always wear Light foundation I found the medium to be about the same shade as the light, but much more neutral.
I would like to know if anyone else thinks if my observation is true or not.

I havent used the serum, but I have the CC foundation (fair). I find it on the yellow side. Seems to me, what I have sampled in Ulta, IT carries a yellowy tone to most make up. I'm especially aware of yellow tints in make up because it looks horrible on me. I'm more porcelain, with cool tones, so I always stay away from anything yellowy. I only use this foundation for day at the beach, or boating because of the higher spf, otherwise I won't be purchasing again. Too thick, and heavy.

Her light is yellow/orange on me, and that is one reason I do not buy IT. Absolutely cannot wear her powder foundation as I am 65 and need moisture-which it does not have no matter what she says. Accenutates every one of my hard-earned wrinkles. Very tired of IT presentations. I know I have offended all of you IT devotees. Sorry. Obviously, everything does not work for everyone.

I wear IT foundation but I put Philosophy Light primer under it. I have a lot of pink in my skin color. You'd never think it was very fair if you saw me, but it totally matches. I've found by using the Philosophy Light primer (it's more beige) it takes away some of the pink for the IT foundation in light to work perfectly.
For me the results are excellent. I don't have pretty skin. I used to have terrible pores. I use Dr. Denese firming facial pads every day, wipe with micro fibre clothes and follow with Hydroshield. If you don't get the makeup and dead skin off every day, you are wasting your time.
About every 3 days I used Philosophy salt scrub in the shower. It cleans out the pores and afterward my face shines. I love it.
I get compliments when I tell people I'm 70. They say, "Your skin is so clear". Duh? It's called smoke and mirrors. I used primer, makeup. I darken my eyebrows with Two Face. I used Maybelline mascara and IT liner on the inner rim. Like I said, "Smoke and mirrors". I guess it looks natural because I doubt they'd compliment me.
Just 2 days ago I was in line at the post office and (of course) I struck up a conversation with the woman in front of me. She was talking about the changes she's seen in her 62 years. I said, "I'm 70 and"...she cut me off and said, "No way!". Your skin is so clear and pretty and (she started to touch my face). I stepped back and stepped on the foot of the woman behind me! Everyone apologized. With my bad knees and back and cane and QVC packages I'm lucky I didn't fall on the woman!
Here's what I've noticed. When I get these compliments they are most of the time from women who don't wear any makeup at all. That's fine, everyone's different. But my point is you cannot compare my made up face with someone who doesn't wear any makeup. That's what most of them are doing. It's so hard not to say, "You could look like this if you did (bla bla bla)". I just say, "Thanks". Did I also mention I wear a wig? Smoke and mirrors. It all takes less than 10 minutes to 'do'.
I didn't mean to go on but I applaud you for taking time to wear makeup when you go out. I'm sorry to all of those women who don't wear any makeup. Just don't compare my made up face with your's when you don't wear any make up.
I think if a woman wants to look like someone who they think looks good, they should put forh the time to look like it. I see it as them 'busting' on themselves.
One more thing. She did say several times, "I'll bet you never smoked...did you?" I said, "No! I never did". I let it go at that.

I noticed the same thing, as well. But on me the light is so forgiving and I have so much pink undertone, that it works. I wouldn't use it for the longest time. I just didn't think it was for me. (I'm also a huge fan of "It" powder foundations, too.) But, I'm so glad I didn't give up! (Now, I buy the huge tubes the once or twice a year QVC offers them.) BTW, is it me? But, I don't think Allison Sweeney has ever looked more beautiful than in the infomercial she does with Jamie! 😊

The medium bye bye concealer is actually a light shade. It has less peach than the medium CC cream which is a bit deeper and peachier than the light CC.
