I'm currently using the facial brush from Clinique. I do like it, but I'm wondering the major differences between this one & Clarisonic. Also, which clarisonic do you love &'why? Interested in hearing thoughts from those who are using it. Appreciate it!

My Clarisonic is 6 years old and still working fine. When I first received it I used it AM and PM. Once my skin improved I went to just PM with my cleanser and finished with my serum and moisturiser. I am 71and my skin is in very good shape. I get many compliments. Good skin care takes so little time and effort.

I got the Clarisonic Mia 2 for Christmas for my daughter-in-law and she is pleased with it. I am glad that we can get replacement brushes from QVC. The brushes last quite some time.

I bought the Clarisonic Mia 2 in April and it came with the a deep pore brush duo, a deep pore cleanser gel that smells like green tea and a tube of deep pore mask.
i also bought a pair of sensitive brushes too. My daughter has had a Mia 2 for a year and a half and she uses it in the shower as she has oily skin.
i think that it's easy to overclean your face with the Mia 2 if you do 2 or 3 cycles at a time. I tend to use the Mia 2 a couple of times a week in the shower as my face tends to not exfoliate very well in the T zone.
I haven't used a Clinique brush but I have used an Olay spin brush and I think that the Clarisonic does a better job of cleaning.

A few years ago I decided to get serious about my skincare and purchased a sonic cleansing brush similar to a Clarisonic. I used that thing religiously. The brushes didn't feel irritating on my skin, they didn't spin around to cause any abrasions, but I ended up with some broken capillaries. I ceased using the cleansing brush, but once a capillary is broken, you're sunk unless you go for laser treatments. Still wanting to use a cleansing tool, I bought a Foreo Luna Mini from one of the other shopping networks. I loved that thing, but it konked out after only a year. Now I'm using a Foreo Luna dupe from Amazon and couldn't be happier. It's even better than the genuine article because it's bigger, has a speed adjustment, holds a charge for several months (like 4-5), and was only 1/5 the cost. Because of my experience, I would strongly urge you to consider one of these cleansing tools rather than a Clarisonic.

I purchased a Mia in 2010. I use it once a day, usually in the mornings. I have not had any problems with it. My skin has improved. If it died I would get another one.

I got Serious Skin Care's less expensive sonic facial brush and didn't like it. I'm not sure whether all of them are like it, but the bristles didn't seem to move at all and it didn't seem to be cleaning my face. I like the regular machines with the brush that runs in a circle. I'd never pay that much for a Clarisonic. Nordstrom Rack had them for about $90 last week. I don't know whether it was the Mia.

There are also manual silicone cleaning pads. I purchased mine at Walmart.
As far as a Clarisonic is concerned, I do not think it necessary to remove makeup or have clean skin.
