When you return an item they will refund your original purchase price but if you use their return label they will deduct your shipping charges from your refund. If your reorder the product you are again paying shipping and handling charges. It can get expensive.

I understand what the OP is saying. QVC and other shopping channels get discount shipping charges from both the PO and UPS because of their high volume of shipping and yet they charge their customers over full price shipping plus the "handling" charges for each individual product purchased. I learned long ago that you can buy most of what you see on these channels for less from other vendors and you can get free shipping or at least reduced shipping as well.

No, no one has to order from QVC or any other place. If you like to pay more it is up to you. I watch occasionally to get ideas of what I may or may not like but it is rare when I do actually order something, cosmetics you can certainly buy for less elsewhere. If I don't want to go out shopping at the stores I can order online from an outlet that gives free shipping, some even handle free returns. With the cost of everything going up I can't tack $7.00 and up onto the price of everything I buy. That is just silly.

I always use QVC'S original packaging and simply re-tape the envelope, bag or box. I never use the QVC return label but simply use my own. What QVC would charge me $6.95 for (using their label) I usually pay around $4.00 to return via USPS. If it a large or heavy item I will take a blank return mailing label to the PO along with the QVC prepaid label and have the POtell me the cost. Then I either stick my own label on or use QVC'S if it is cheaper.
