I've owned and used the Instyler for quite a while now and have never used any type of product in my hair when using it, as suggeted by the manufacturer. Lately, however, I feel like my hair is getting drier, so I'd like to spray a heat protectant on my hair (I have one made by Nexxus) before using the Instyler.

Do any of you who own an Instyler use any heat protectant product before using it, and if so, does using such a product cause any problems with how the Instyler performs? Thanks.
