Ditto on the difference a good dryer makes. I have thick hair and the cheap dryers just seem to either blow it out all over the place or just too hot and my hair dries out. I use the orignal Solano and it the perfect combination of power and heat to keep my hair in good condition. I have tried many dryers before reading about the Solano here and will stick with it.

Hate to say this: I am hearing nothing but WONDERFUL reviews on the new Dyson hair dryer. $400 though.....

I've been using a T3 mini for a few years and have been very happy with it. One day I'd like to try the Solano.

I don't use a blow dryer every day so for me the least expensive one from Sallys works.  They do die unexpectedly so I just keep a spare upstairs.  They all just blow air over a heating element.
