If you used the NuFace and then stopped; what happened?

If you used the NuFace and then stopped; what happened? If you used this device for awhile, months or a year and saw some results and then you stopped using it; what did you experience? Did you start dropping right away? Did your results hold awhile?

NuFace is just another beauty gimmick. Like secrets from Geishas, Crepe Erase, the list goes on. If you read NuFace material, they say in black and white that results are temporary.

Re: If you used the NuFace and then stopped; what happened?

I'm curious about NuFace. There's a YouTube influencer I just started following this year, "HotandFlashy"...she's a 59 y.o. who seems pretty straightforward in her reviews of beauty products, and fashion. Her two favorite devices (she has full videos dedicated to them) are the NuFace, she's used for years and Omnilux.

I realize these influencers wind up being paid to sponser these things...but she seems as though she really has used these things and says she's seen results.

I almost bit the bullet after seeing that on NuFace...but reviews on Q were a lot negative as in "saw no results" "stop using" "waste of money." So I didn't go for it.

Years ago I tried the Suzanne Somers, similar type device...tried it 30 days, didn't see one bit of difference and returned it.

I'm skeptical.

I am curious about the Omnilux. I think between the two...I might try that, if anything.

Curious about others' responses here.

I used a different brand of microcurrent device (Serious Skin Care's EGG) for about a year. Each time I used it the results lasted maybe a day if that. I really never saw any real noticeable long-term results from using it but  was mostly something I would see right after I used it. The results for me didn't last very long at all and it took too much of my time to get that so I stopped.

ETA- I get more lifting, firmness and smoothing from using a microneedle roller...and those results last a very long time.

I used it faithfully for around 8 months...nothing.  Stopped, but thought to use it again around 2 months later, but it wouldn't recharge.  Read somewhere the battery must be kept charged all the time.  Not interested.

@Foxxee @Most of the negative reviews for this product here on QVC are about recharging issues. There are many with your problem.

Re: If you used the NuFace and then stopped; what happened?

Like others here, I also purchased (after seeing Hot&Flashy's reviews) a couple years ago and feel I really gave it a good shot.  For me, it takes too long and absolutely zero results.  I feel dumb even having bought into the claims.  Won't be the first or last time though Smiley Mad

Anyway, Angie really does seem to like it so perhaps it does do something for some, just not me!

@amyb @I am familiar with her and watch her reviews. I get the feeling that this is just another gimmick but I am still curious and I'm taking an open minded look before I pass final judgement.

Re: If you used the NuFace and then stopped; what happened?

I bought it and used it for 2 years...way before Angie of Hot & Flashy started using it. I saw a reduction in fine lines and wrinkles around my eyes. I took before and after photos. Even my husband was impressed. It truly did work...at least for me. That being said, I sold mine a year and a half ago, because I never saw any improvement beyond the fine lines and wrinkles and only in that area.  That was as good as it was going to get for my face, and the time it was taking to do the treatments every other day was getting old for the small improvement in my skin that only I noticed.

Re: If you used the NuFace and then stopped; what happened?

@Mindy D I never used Nuface much and sent it back but have used a facemaster since I was in my mid 40's and now for my eye area only and EGG for my lower face with great results.  My facemaster broke many years ago when I was still in my 40's and they were pulled off the market pending FDA approval so could not get another for a couple of years.  Slowly the results went away so it was gradual then when I was able to get another one , on the first usage noticed such a huge difference that I almost ran off the road when I saw my face in the rear view mirror.  Well worth the few minutes to use those devices.
