Thank you for that information, but after doing some research on line, I have to stick with my original conclusion that the item is defective. Nowhere on-line could I find anything about the postal service putting REJECT stickers on packages. I checked the USPS's list of postal terms--there are literally thousands of them--and "REJECT" is not on the list. The stickers had to have been put on by QVC. Perhaps the items were not meant to be sent out and it was just an error, but regardless, I think QVC could have done a better job of making this right.
