If you order on line can you exchange it in store? (Lancome)

Ordered a lipstick on line ( free shipping ) and it's broken at the base. Everytime I use it , it wobbles even more! Can I take it to a Lancome counter to exchange it if I have the order invoice and the original carton? It just won't be worth the money to ship it back but otherwise it will probably get trashed with just a little usage because of the wobble factor. It was a $22 lipstick so I am really bummed!
