I have purchased several - mine, plus three I have given to grandchildren going out on their own. I am completely happy with this machine, as are the people to whom I've gifted them.
You have to be willing to work with it a little before you're completely comfortable, but once you "get it", you'll be so glad you decided to take the plunge.

It is sooo worth it! I bought mine awhile back from Costco (the newest one with both pre-programmed and manual settings) and although it was $499 it is worth every penny. I just recently bought my parents one and they love theirs too. They had all the other gadgets- juicer, etc- but hated how hard it was to clean them, etc so they hardly used them. They are LOVING the ease of this. They both have lost weight and are regularly exercising and this helps them make smoothies, fresh oj, and make healthy soups, among other things. I think they are worth every penny and everyone I know that has one has no regrets. And I know they last a long time, as many have had the same Vitamix for 20 years and not one issue.

I love my Vitamix! I have a 64 oz. and probably would prefer a 48 oz. for everyday use. Also wish I had the turquoise instead of the black, but seeing as this will last forever, black is probably better in the long run. Are fruits and vegetables more expensive than a bag of chips or some other processed junk? Yes. But as you work with your Vitamix you will get a better handle on how much you need to put in. Plus your body will thank you for all the nutrition you're getting.

I love mine, but I didn't buy it from QVC. I have the 5200. I wouldn't buy one of the QVC models without the variable speed.

Fruits and vegetables are the lest expensive thing in our grocery store. What do you eats that is less expensive?

they make a vitamix without variable speed?? That seems odd. I've never checked out the ones on QVC but what kind of blender doesn't have variable speeds?
Definitely do NOT buy the one without variable speed, OP.

I know, I was shocked the first time I saw it. QVC is the only place I've ever seen the Vitamix without the variable speed. And it makes no sense at all to me. They've had the two speed model as a TSV in the past.

I use my vitamix everyday!!! And it has helped me lose some weight due to being so much healthier. I wouldn't cancel.

I love mine!! Love protein shakes for breakfast and this is so fast and super easy cleanup. Got mine at Costco and figured I'd never need the 64 oz size, but it was a great deal. Boy was I wrong! We have neighborhood get together's once a week just to visit. I can bring fresh lemonade or an adult beverage and there's plenty for everyone. Whether it's a small load or large, the Vitamix handles it beautifully. Love being able to make fat free ice cream. I freeze fat free half & half and get a creamy smooth texture. Can't wait to try David's cheddar ale sauce for mac & cheese.

I love my Vitamix, and I debated over the purchase for 2 years because of the high price. Glad I purchased it. I use it several times a week. Mostly I make fruit or vegetable drinks. I also use it to make soups, though the soup doesn't get that hot, even if it's "steaming." I usually blend the soup for about 4 minutes, then pour it into a bowl and finish heating it in the microwave. It has really helped me get in my 5 servings of fruits and veggies each day!
