I'm not sure of a shade name or if I'd want a shadow stick, powder formula or potted shadow but I would pick a taupey brown shimmer shade.

I have green eyes so I like a brownish shade leaning toward a copper.  I don't like shimmer at all.

The 4th color in the Lancome Taupe Craze palette. The other colors are good too, but that one hits pan

I can't pick one color but if I had to pick a palette. Kat Von D shade and light palette hands down. My most used palette for years. I guess my single color would be a brown.

Malted (powder) by Bobbi Brown.
It is not sold individually. I have to wait for it to be included in a palette.

Currently there is a Real Nudes Eye Shadow palette out with three different colorations.  In the Stonewashed Nudes palette, Malted is the second shade from the left.  That's the main reason I bought the palette!

@Shanus   That is funny that you mention Stila.  I never purchased Kitten but I know it's a favorite of many.  My gray/silver eye shadow was by Stila called Smoke which was one of the prettiest colors I ever owned.  I believe Stila has changed hand a couple of times.  They use to have the best eye shadows, lipsticks, etc.  I have to take a peek to see what they are up to.

I would have to find a "taupe".  Revlon "Siren" seems to have run it's course.  "Sigh"!!!

@Katcat1 @Bobbi brown banana. It's my favorite! I have been wearing it for years. Nice neutral. I love shimmer on others but not me.

@Franklinbell   Bobbi Brown did not have a banana eye shadow.  I wanted to see what the shade looked like but I did a search with no results with the eye shadows offered.

Ohh, I used to LOVE Kitten.  Maybe that's why I'm enjoying Colourpop's 3rd Street so much.  They look very similar except for the shimmer in the CP shadow.
