The indepedent salons I patronize don't charge $$$$. 

 

I'm too frugal to spend $$$ when I can get the same results paying $.

 

(It's been years since I watched, but if I remember correctly - doesn't Project Runway's salon use Tresemme products?)

 

ETA:  They are also one of the sponsors for New York Fashion Week.

I don't think I'd be very happy with the price that it costs to get hair cut and highlighted nowadays to see that they used such cheap products in my hair!  I've never used it myself and it might work fine, but I would not be happy spending $$$ to get my hair done to find out they were using shampoo/conditioner that costs a couple of bucks for a huge bottle.
