You can buy perfumers' diluent. That's basically high-grade grain (ethyl) alcohol...like 90-proof Everclear. Use that to dilute the perfume by putting the alcohol into a misting bottle, spray some of your perfume into that (several spritz to your desired amount of strength) and then you have a diluted version of the your original perfume...now call it EDT of your own doing.

Last night I sprayed an ankle and back of one knee with the fragrance in question. Much much better! Thanks everyone.
