Looks like a war zone here. Trees, tree limbs, power lines down. Lost power all day just got it back a few hours ago. Accidents all over the place not only cars but people just walking. I know there are others worse off than us and I feel so bad for them. We were wrapped up in blankets and when we finally got our power back I just prayed for those who were still without. I hope everyone is safe. It is nasty out there.

No thought is worth thinking.....

I am manager of a well known Hardware store in NE Maine, on the Canadian border, and most people were without power for at least 5 days. Some of Eastern Canada is still without power. Our store had 4 Emergency trucks in last week, full of generators and other emergency supplies - ice melt, batteries, propane lanterns and propane bottles, kerosene and kero heaters. Now on top of that we got 7" of snow and more to come on Sunday. It is hard on the fuel bills for those with power and harder for those without power and cannot afford all these extras. We had no power for 4 days over Christmas and we have wood heat, so we were fortunate. Propane stove so I could cook Christmas dinner and we ate by lantern. Keeping my fingers crossed for those without power and funds.
