It looked great all day and I'm very pleased with it. I'm 60 years old and whenever I went to the bathroom at work today I looked in the mirror and thought Yep this is a keeper.
So glad it worked for you. I love this cream,So glad I got it on AD

Just got mine today and I'm not sure it's going to work for me. :-( I was afraid it wouldn't be light enough (I got Fair) and it's just a SMIDGE too fair -- shows up in my pores and lines. I just smushed some on when I got home this afternoon with my fingers(only had sunscreen on my face). I just about fainted when I read scarlett811 said she used 3 pumps! AND, then kacee11 said it worked great that way! So that's how I'll try it tomorrow -- use more, finish off with the brush. I REALLY want this to work!
I honestly preferred Lumene's BB Cream, but it was too dark/yellow. Maybe I'll try mixing the two together.

Maren, I got a fair and light kit and I bet we have similar skin-tone. The fair makes me look even paler and accentuates lines and pores as you said. The light is quite a bit darker. I wore it today without anything on top. I can do it, but if I put it on heavy it will show at the jaw. Means I might have to take it all the way down the neck. Rather not, it's too expensive to waste that way. I emailed IT and asked if a shade between fair and light might be in the works. Didn't get a straight answer. Just a polite "we are always looking to expand the line and add shades" which didn't tell me if and when. I will return one kit or the other. Not sure which, but the light makes me feel happier than feeling that I look ill!

for me I only need one pump on the back of my hand. I touch the tip of my Real Techniques expert face brush to get just a little and put it on my face starting at the eyes first than forehead than cheeks and finally the chin and jaw area. Doesn't really matter where you start or finish but I just put a small amount on the tip of my brush(dab it from the back of my hand) than apply someplace and brush in good before dabbing my brush again. I do this all over than using my brush in a circular motion I go all over my entire face and jawline to finish up. I like doing it like this so I don't get too much, don't like a heavy feeling of anything on my face so, for me yes, less is much better.

I just got mine on Friday and I have been wearing it and liking it but I haven't worn it for a full 8 hours yet, that will be the real test. I just use one pump on the back of my hand then spread it around with my fingers first, then use the brush that came with it. I do like the way it looks, time will tell.

I received this a few weeks ago as I ordered thru the Insider and I love this CC cream! I have been searching for a better foundation/BB/CC cream to use as the powder foundations have not been working so well for my winter skin. I was using the latest Tarte TSV and that foundation was good, but I like this CC cream much better and its a good thing since Tarte was just sold and I'm afraid the quality will go downhill just like BE and Philosophy. Anyway - I do not use the brush - I just apply with my fingers and use the brush that came with the celebration foundation to buff out any areas that need more blending. 1 pump of this CC cream is enough for me. I top with a light dusting of whatever setting powder I have - right now I am using Revlon Nearly Naked or Ready to Wear finishing powder. This lasts all day on me until I take it off at night. I am loving this kit. The mascara primer is ok but this cream and the supersize is worth the price of the kit for me!

I think you're right, Desi -- sisters in skin tone. :-)
I've read that some have mixed the Fair and Light -- don't know if that would work for you -- but if you really like the finish and feel you might give it a try. I agree that it would be a waste if you had to bring it all the way every time you wore it.
It's so dang hard getting the right shade! I'm hopeful my application technique today may improve the result, but I really think the color just isn't going to work. I can't believe how disappointed I am!
What do you think you'll do?

Will stick to my Mally powder foundations thank you very much.
No way am I putting snail secretions on my face!
What ingredients are in the Mally powder foundations?

I LOVE the CC cream, as I do all of their products! I do use a very light dusting of the celebration foundation over my CC cream simply b/c I have oily skin and it seems to help control the oil a little. I only use 1 pump of the CC cream, apply with my fingers and then blend in with the brush. I find it's more even this way.
