I'm glad it worked for you. I find it an impossible task to control my psi for the perfect color! lol
I'm really digging Benefit's Gimme Brow. You brush it on like a mascara but I don't know how well it works if you don't have brows to brush through...

I have and am using right now the IT pencil. I really like it. I also really like the YBF pencil and have that in my make-up bag as well.
My problem with the mascara wand type products is that I'm missing parts of my brows so those don't work.
I was watching some of the Too Faced presentation last night with their brow product and everyone's brows looked painted on. DH came upstairs while I had it on and commented that the women all looked better without "that stuff" on. LOL

I use the It Cosmetics Skinny Brow -- the original one.-- and I will stick with it. The newer skinnier one that comes in different shades does not seem to be getting the best reviews.

I tried all brow pencils, gels, waxes, powders you name it but since I don't have any tails at all nothing stuck or adhered to where I didn't have hairs.
The only thing that works for me is the Laura Geller tri tip brow marker. The brow hairs I do have are so dark brown they are almost black so I get and love the charcoal using a light hand when applying.
I tried ybf, IT(both pencils),Tarte mousse, gimme brow, you name it but none looked natural where I had to ''draw'' brows but this tri tip does, thank goodness, finally have brows that look like brows.

I use a dark gray matte eyeshadow and apply it to my brows using a stiff angled eyebrow brush and small strokes. Works great.

I love this eyebrow pencil also...They have the small size at the checkouts at Ulta for $12.00...I just grab one of those and it lasts a long time..I also am missing the last part of my eyebrow and it looks very natural with the universal pencil...(other's I have tried make it look drawn-on, this does not for me)

This is my go to pencil, love love love!
I do also like Skinny Pencil version of this. Both are exceptional in my opinion.
I've been on the IT train for awhile, I really like what it does for my skin and features!

You are lucky to be able to use the Laura Geller product, I loved the concept, that tri-tip super natural. BUT it turned GREEN on me! Right out of a horror movie in broad daylight! EEEKKK!
