@JeanLouiseFinch I wonder what happens to all the returned kits? Is there a way to check that the next one received has not been previously tried out? A seal broken maybe?
@Shanus
I returned my Fair-Light. I hope they destroy it.
BUT, I never opened the brush or powder and only did one squirt of the foundation and put it back in the box, so actually no way anyone would know it had been used, since I put everything back in its place in the original kit.

@TY wrote:The limitations of buying from tv shopping are very evident when watching QVC's IT Cosmetics TSV presentation. You can't compare the older CC formula with the matte one or compare any of the CC creams or liquid foundations with each other as to shades. Hosts and vendors pushing shades that don't match one's skin is obsolete and annoying.
Foundations are never swatched on the hand or arm like what you see from youtube beauty influencers who will do a side by side comparison swatch and apply each one to one side of the face or do a comparison wear test. The limitations of the tv selling format leaves a lot of uncertainty in choosing the right product and color for your skin.
I'm taking a wait and see attitude toward the new matte CC cream. I'm sure that it will be coming to Canadian Sephora stores and then I'll go into the store and look at the matte CC cream in person and see for myself in person what it looks like and how it wears. I'll probably ask for a sample to try out. I'm guessing I would be the light-medium shade with the cool undertones but I won't know until I see the product for myself in person.
The customers who couldn't buy the shade they wanted because of pre-orders have a right to be mad at both QVC and IT Cosmetics. This new matte cc cream rollout seemed to be poorly planned and executed with no backup plan for customers to go on a waitlist. QVC must have lost a lot of potential sales because of it.
I wish they would swatch on an arm or something so that we can see a difference from one shade to another, showing the photos on the models means nothing.
I went with my usual shade as that has been consistent with the powder and the compact foundation.

I got the fair light, it is a little too dark for me but it looks good. I also wish they would do the swatches on the arm, they way they used to. Not sure why they stopped

Mine arrived today and I was home for lunch so I was able to look at the shades (hand test). They look surprisingly good so far, but that's a very tentative assessment, since I was not able to actually apply it to my face.
I said surprisingly because I have their new Rich Honey shade. Other It Cosmetics shades I've tried were horrible on me. Neither the Tan, Rich or Deep work for me at all.
However, I see that they have grouped shades for the airbrush powder. They included the Rich in mine, no Rich Honey shade I guess. I read here they did something similar in other shades as well. I wish they would have mentioned that in those all-day presentations. Rich was never a shade that worked for me in the CC cream because it made me look like I had been embalmed (very ashy looking!). So if this Rich Honey CC cream works great, yet the Rich airbrush powder brings back the ashy look again, I'm returning this entire set because it will no longer be a good value for me. I already have fabulous brushes. Just something to consider.

Wore mine yesterday and today. I used NOTHING on my skin and applied it with the brush. Needed abit more to get coverage for my rosacea. It looked ok...then applied my own powder. Wanted to only test the foundation out a few different ways. Well as Angie in her review video said it starts looking all oily on your face about 4-5hrs in. YUK....
So today I mixed it with my tried and true Revlon ColorStay Dry Skin Formula. It worked much better and I used nothing on my skin at all before applying.
The color Fair is perfect match for me so no issues with that. The problem is the titanium dioxide in it that causes this shine and gooey separating appearance and if you have large pores well it really doesn't look good.
If I can make it work by mixing it with my other foundation I might keep it IF I love the powder that came with it. Haven't tested it out yet.

Update to my earlier assessment of this TSV:
I purchased this set in the new Rich Honey shade. The CC cream in this shade is the best I have tried of It Cosmetic's shades so far. Their Rich shade was always too light and incredibly ashy -- I looked like I had been embalmed. Their Deep shade was like dark paste -- too dark & still with an ashy undertone. This Rich Honey is much more on the mark, with most of the ashy undertone gone, as long as I apply very, very little. I will have to use this as light coverage only.
The airbrush finishing powder is a HUGE disappointment. Not once in any presentation I saw did they say this product would NOT be the same shade as the CC cream ordered. What I got was the shade Rich, which again is very light on me and makes me look very ashy. I expected the same Rich Honey shade, but that is not how they put the set together. I see now in the online description that is says it's in a "corresponding shade" -- nice play on words.
Then there's the brush. This is not a good brush for a cream foundation of this viscosity. It's a thicker cream, so it needs a denser brush. I had to ditch it for a denser foundation brush I already had (I can use it for applying blush).
I have oily skin, and I always use matte foundation. This matte CC cream is quite adequate in that regard.
Ultimately, I will keep this set. I'll use the brush as it's very good to apply blush (not foundation). I will use the CC cream because a light application and the Rich Honey shade looks nice, and I can skip my separate application of sunscreen when I use this. However, the airbrush powder is a total loss.
This will NOT be my #1 product to use, but it'll do fine for the rest of the summer. I will not re-order.

Because do we all realize the overlapping on the payments since this will ship every 90days 🤷🏻‍♀️ If we choose auto delivery? I wish there were a choice in the number of payments like you can choose over at HSN. I would rather have 3 EZ pays so I don’t pay twice every 3 months...
there used to be an option to make an ezpayment that way you can pay off 1 or more as you like. ITA it would be nice for viewers to have a choice
I did that once when I made an ezp on something I thought I would return.

Hi everybody. I used the cc matte for a week and I think it is time to write something about it. Unfortunately, no matter how I use it, this product is like glue on my skin. I already posted that the fair is too dark, that is not full coverage and that is not completely matte, but those are fixable to some extent, with the exception of the wrong color. This product looks good when I finish my makeup, but in a few hours it starts to settle into every imperfection. Also, it looks good at home, I have a good mirror with lights, but terrible at work with artificial light. I wore it on Sunday and one of my friends said "omg what makeup are you wearing, it's cracking, you should toss it and wear something else". Then my partner told me on Wednesday, "why are you wearing all that foundation, you rarely wear makeup", I was wearing the cc matte and it was about half a pump. Then I kissed someone hello and I stained his shirt (!!!!). I have worn many brands of tinted moisturizers and foundations over the years and this rarely happens with the higher end brands. With other brands of makeup if I forget to blend an area and noticed later during the day, I can get a sponge or my clean fingers and fix my makeup, but if I do that with the cc matte, the makeup comes off in a bad way (like dried up Elmer's glue). I still love some It Cosmetics products like their brushes, their Bye Bye Concealer and their Superhero mascara, but I haven't had any luck with their foundations.
Am I returning the TSV? I still don't know because I use the powder that came with it and the brush is fantastic, but I will definitely cancel auto delivery.
Oh and yes I have the biggest pimple ever on my chin, I don't know for sure if it is related, but this is the only new product I tried this week. I really wanted to like the cc matte, but it just didn't work for me. It is deceiving on certain lights so ladies I suggest that you check yourselves on different types of lighting and take a really close look at your skin in a good mirror. Have a nice weekend! ![]()

Definitely more difficult to apply. I used a brush. I do have many lol. Ok for summer when I prespire and have more oil in my comb. Skin. Will not like in the Winter and can tell that already. Won't reorder. Agree medium coverage.
