Re: IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Foundation Now Available

[ Edited ]

Why doesn't my reply stay?  I am trying to reply to limeade and it tells me it is successful but then it's gone.  I must have some characters in it that are not allowed.  I will keep trying.

Re: IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Foundation Now Available

If you go to tryitnow.com, do you also see this verbiage:   There is no commitment and no minimum to buy. Please note exact shipment times may vary. To customize this program or future shipments and charges, call customer service anytime at (800) 465-7613?   On this site, there is also a Customize It link.  If you click on that it gives you 3 steps including this verbiage:    create your personalized kit and send it directly to you .  It also shows the products you can choose from for your customized kit.  I called and asked more about this.  I believe the minimum kit is 3 items but I could be wrong on that…she may have only started with 3 for me.  3 pieces is 89.95 for 3 months, 4 pieces is 104.85, 5 pieces is 119.85.  She said you can pick multiples of the same product.  So for example, you could pick 3 of the Bye Bye Foundation if you wanted for 89.95 for 3 months (that might not include shipping).

I have been receiving Sheer Cover for 12 years and this is how Sheer Cover works too.  I have customized my kit a lot of over the years and receive only 4 items which is less than what you start out with with their introductory offer.  I’m not sure if you can do this with IT Cosmetics through G-R, but I have changed my delivery frequency to receive my Sheer Cover products every 9 months.  I have honestly found it very flexible.  I have never tried to discontinue my membership, so I can’t speak to how they would treat me if I did that.  I may find out since if I decide to receive IT Cosmetics I would probably stop Sheer Cover.

Re: IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Foundation Now Available

I received this kit a few weeks ago and read the ingredients on the box, and there was no snail filtrate in this foundation.  I don't care for the CC because it is thick and tacky, never seems to dry, and this new foundation is the opposite. This configuration of the Bye Bye concealer is also my new fave, which is depressing since they only give you a small amount and it's not available on it's own.

They  made no mention of being able to customize your future kits, but that would be a nice option.

Re: IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Foundation Now Available

I can't seem to paste in my response but I'll try and just type it.  I really think you can customize it.  If you look on the website it says there is no minimum and you can customize.  There is also a Customize It button on the site (tryitnow).  If you click on that, it shows you the products you can customize and you have to call the number to actually customize your kit.  I called and she gave me pricing for 3,4,5 and 6 pieces in your kit.  The price I mentioned of 89.95 is for 3 pieces and you would receive it every 3 months...I can't remember if this included shipping.  I asked if you could pick multiples of the same product and she said yes.  I used the example of 2 Bye Bye Foundation and 1 concealer and she said yes I could do this.  I hope this helps!

Re: IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Foundation Now Available

That foundation does seem a bit pricey. I will say, the CC fnd doesn't require much to cover a face. I'm using the cushion compact from one of the TSV's and the small dab works over my face completely. Despite a degree in sciences and using "gross" stuff my entire life until I retired from science (and work in non-smelly finance!) --I don't like the thought of the snails. It has a nice lemony fragrance but still...

Of course, hyalurnonic acid is or was made from rooster combs. I had a client years ago who was pioneering this and there were barrels of them at their factory. BARRELS.

Yet, I use it every day and I do like IT products. I find those are the ones I reach for--which is my way of telling if I'm happy with something. The ones I grab are the ones I like best.

Re: IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Foundation Now Available & 3D SkinFlex Tech ?

I'm trying to catch up on reading posts today (been out of town) and I saw this new foundation after I clicked on a link in an IT Cosmetics newsletter as I was catching up on some emails this morning.  That does seem quite expensive!  Have any of you read about the new Smashbox foundation?  I saw a presentation on HSN several months ago (didn't buy it) and the SB makeup artist said it had a new technology similar to "elastic bandage" people might be familiar with for cuts and scratches.  She said that technology would prevent foundation settling into fine lines, pores, etc.  Since the IT name has "flex" in the name I wonder if it is similar to what the SB rep was talking about???Smiley Happy

Re: IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Foundation Now Available & 3D SkinFlex Tech ?

I just wanted to confirm with you that I did just customize my kit.  You can customize how many pieces you want to receive and how often you want to receive it.  I chose 3 items which with shipping comes to $98.82 which they take in 3 payments.  So, if you wanted, you could buy 3 Bye Bye Foundation Full Coverage Moisturizers which would be $32.94 each.

@turtle52 had to say this made me laff my tail off! haha!

I liked the one of these Bye Bye fnd's from a TV offer, 65 is not THAT high if like me you alternate.several fdn's like me. I did like it a lot...but the Tarte cheapo ones I own are pretty as nice. I also think Trish McEvoy's Beauty Balm tint [wears like a med. foundation to full on me] is so very beautiful on my skin but that is 85.oo! same size as this It one! A good foundation to me is vital...I still have my 165.00 [now it's 185!!!!] La Prairie Caviar skin foundation w/a concealer on top of lid-that's pretty old now as  my skin got dry with mean-o-pouse - but it was awesome on *sigh* and my FAVE.. had only like 3 back then ...so that is now sitting pretty on a shelf with it's built in brush in the holder [sooo lux] barely used! Now 65 is not too bad if you are a fdn nut like me Smiley Tongue about foundations.

Wish the Q had this nee Bye Bye fdn and on EZ pay for us.
