@AnnMarie-1 - I think Evine is missing me, lol! I've cut back on my Evine shopping this year due mostly to high shipping fees, poor beauty configuration kits and little/no incentives. They really messed up the last Skinn visit when both QVC and HSN were offering free shipping, they offered diddly. No wonder their sales have sunk 12% this past quarter.
I hope you get a coupon soon, maybe they will do something for Isomers visit!

I've decided to start using a liquid exfoliator in my routine. Trying to decide between Paual's Choice 2% BHA and Isomers Exfoliating Serum that has both AHA and BHA.
Thoughts?

Regarding ISOMERS cleansers: does she offer one for dry skin and that does NOT contain scrubbies in it?
@JeanLouiseFinch I read somewhere that BHA were for those who had more of a problem with clogged pores/blackheads and AHA was for everyone else. A product with both would address ALL concerns. It was either Trish McEvoys book or Perricones. I started paying attention to they type of glycolics after that and found they are labeled as just AHA, just BHA and then the combo. Made sense once I knew they were being labeled based on what your skin needs vs one size fits all. If I have this backwards, please correct me, everyone!

@Chi-town girl When it comes to body care, I'm finding that the label can be VERY misleading and the thickness of the product has nothing to do with hydration when the term "BUTTER" is used.
Some of the thickest "butters" have done NOTHING for my KP on my arms or flaking skin on my legs but have found a lotion has done wonders. Ingredients; bottom line. I'll see what this one has to offer. So far, my most recent body butter purchases have left me quite disappointed over long term use. I don't expect to work the first time I use it, but after a month of almost daily application? Yeah, I do.

@SahmIam- My understanding is the same as yours, so if you're wrong, I am too. Seriously, though, I believe you are correct. Everyone raves about Paula's Choice BHA. I tried her 9% for sebaceous hyperplasia and didn't like it at all, it was thick and somewhat sticky. I've always leaned toward and AHA when it comes to liquid (Alpha Skincare). Isomers, in general, hasn't been the greatest for me, but this combo exfoliator is calling me. I'm having cervical spine surgery next week and will be in a hard collar for several weeks with no bending, nodding, or twisting. I'm even limiting my showering and shampooing for awhile. That said, I think DermAppealing is out for me for the time being. Hence my search for a liquid. I think I'm going to give the Isomers a try. The price isn't bad, for a 4 oz. bottle, and it's available on subscription should I really like it and it becomes a non-negotiable for me.

@JeanLouiseFinch First, I wish you great success with your surgery and hope your recovery is fast and uneventful.
Second: stock up on dry shampoo!
Third: I go back and forth between physical exfoliants (Dermapeel) and chemical because I often wonder if I'm "scratching/ripping" my skin with the physical ones. I don't know. It was a big reason I turned to Dr. Gross daily pads for exfoliating; to avoid the "scrubbies". Sometimes, though, you NEED those scrubbies, lol. You're right, the price isn't bad and no rinsing needed. If you do purchase, please review it. : )
Good luck, hugs and I'll keep you close/send you positive vibes regarding your surgery and recovery. : )

You're a sweetheart, @SahmIam. Thank you so much. I'm not going to lie, there are some nerves, but I think that's normal. I have a great surgeon who is very highly thought of around here. I'm staying positive that all will go well.
I just ordered some no rinse shampoo caps from Amazon, to get me through the first couple of weeks, plus my hair is long enough to put it up in a ponytail. Once my incision is healed and I'm off the heavy duty pain meds, I think I'll feel more secure about resuming a more regular showering and shampooing routine. I'm getting fitted for my collar tomorrow. I'll have to wear it 24/7 except for when I'm in the shower. I'm a little nervous about trusting myself not to look up or down so I'm hoping I can get one for the shower too.
Thanks again for your good wishes. I'm hoping it won't be long before I'm back, posting from my recliner. I just ordered the Isomers Exfoliating Serum so I'll eventually let you know what I think.

@SahmIam, Isomers Double Duty Cleansers would be my answer to your question. Excellent, gentle, exfoliating cleanser. Non-drying. No scrubbies in it!
ISOMERS Double Duty Cleanser 16.9 oz
