 If the ingredients aren't protected in the appropriate components ie: airless or metal lined or glass or any other proven material that prevents degrading of ingredients  from exposure to air, light, bacteria from hands, once we open them the ingredients degrade becoming worthless but still costing a worthy dollar.

We apply these  costly ingredients onto our skin and wonder why the results aren't there or minimal at best, or have stop being effective. 

When we get a RX med for skin, it's usually in a glass bottle, dark bottle or jar,  vial, pump or metal tube  to maintain the integrity of ingredients and skincare should be the same.

I'm trying to stick to  brands that consistently practice this important step.
