Re: I've Tried The Two Tatcha Primers This Weekend

I don't know what I said that is making others think the hydrating products I use is causing my face to dry out Smiley Surprised  My face went from oily to normal to dry over a period of years.  I've had dry and dehydrated skin for 2-3 years.  Yes, my skin is dry without the products.  Did I say with? Smiley Surprised  Rut ro, sorry about that.

I had to get up and out at 8am today.  The things I'll do for my cold brew!

I had just put on my "night face" 4 hours earlier.  When I got up at 8 and started to rinse my face with cold water, I looked at it and decided I liked the way it look dewy.  Not greasy, but hydrated and had a bit of a glow.  I decided to leave it lol  I've always been a matte finish girl but today I may be reconsidering a natural slightly dewy finish.

Oh the great water debate (sigh).  Don't make me admit to not drinking water.  I DO drink water.  The water I drink has coffee in it or fruit flavors.  I drink water at dinner and when going out to eat because I refuse to pay $2+ for tea.  But I don't drink enough liquid of any kind during the day.   Fruits and veggies, uh, no but I do take vitamins that have fruits and veggies in them Smiley Happy  If my husband would let me, I'd live on protein shakes and coffee.

YES!  I love love love all my Glow Recipe Watermelon products.  I too use the moisturizer.  I usually use it during the day but last night (4am) I used it instead of my Naturium moisturizer and woke up at 8 with a dewy glow that I left on (didn't rinse my face with cold water).  That must have been the difference this morning but I don't think I can rely on that particular moisturizer for fine lines.  It seems to do a great job but is it doing a great job on a deeper level?

I have large pores and found that Benefit brand PoreFessional minimizng primer works very well for me.  It does a great job blurring large pores.

@monicakm  The pills will not do  the same....fruits and veggies have such a high water content. You are experiencing the consequences of your actions....everybody does. No lectures/no judgement....each of us will follow our own path. Heart

I know.  About 3 years ago I just stopped having any interest or desire to eat and EVERY gathering seems to be centered around food.

@haddon9  - I would love to try this primer.  HSN carries it and I have a 20% off coupon that expires today.  Maybe I'll try it.

I don't have large pores but enjoy this primer (not as much as Hourglass tho).  I bought the tinted hydrating version.
