I used my husband's electric razor on my legs and.....

...I'm wondering why I never thought to do this before! I've spent a fortune on electric razors for ladies-none of them worked-and we all know how ridiculously expensive women's manual razors are and by now, we probably could have taken a couple of lavish vacations on the money we spent!!!

I plan on having a pedicure on Thursday or Friday, and "they" say don't shave 24 hours before you go....I was getting ready to lather up and shave when I spied hubby's electric razor-all plugged in and ready to go...Dare I???? Well, in under a minute, I was sporting baby-soft hairless legs-no nicks-no cuts-smooth as a babies bottom...has anybody else discovered this?

Totally intrigued by this! What brand/type of electric razor is it?

I sometimes use an old one my husband gave me. It works fine.

Hubby has a Remington....I don't know why I ever thought I needed a ""Woman's razor""-and I've bought Lady Remington before (name a brand-I've tried it I bet). This is the best shave I've ever had!

It's as if your just experienced what I experienced this past summer. I looked at my husband's razor and I also said ""Why not?"". I cannot believe how smooth my legs were after using his razor. I think waxing and using a manual razor make my legs more smoother but my husband's electric razor is far and away better than the junk ladies electric razor that I was using. And just like you - I've spent a lot of money on ladies razors. What a waste. I did purchase a new one for me recently and I haven't tried it yet but hubby's razor still sits there on the bathroom counter and it calls my name!!

Interesting trivia Poodlepet! Off I go to try my husband's razor later! I've been getting nicks and cuts on the one I've been using and it's not really that effective.

For some reason I am NOT getting a good close shave from the Venus razors I buy. Maybe I should ""gift"" him with one!!!! Valentine's day! LOL!!!

I use my husband's old electric shaver. It is much more effective than the ladies one I have. I prefer to use an old one rather than my husband's current one, because he always leaves his full of whiskers. LOL I wonder why they make the men's models so much better? I won't buy a ladies one again!!

Re: I used my husband's electric razor on my legs and.....

I discovered that yrs ago. My women's electrics were inefficient and the edges so sharp they scratched my legs. Got DH an electric one, and thought, hey, why not get myself one too? Never went back - who cares if it isn't all pretty and decorated, it works!
