So what store bought shampoos are good? One of the reasons I like WEN is that my hair is not a tangled mess after washing.

I like Paul Mitchell Super Strong and The Body/volume version. Extremely low later but makes your hair look good and a super gentle scent. Its the only shampoo where people stop me and compliment my hair. matrix cleansing conditioners are good. they clean a little more deeper. The Acei berry is very smoothing and conditioning and the pomograniate is light conditioning. They have menthol in it but not as much. Wella Brialliance and Matrix Sugar Shine are good.

I stopped using Wen exclusively awhile ago. I went to a Devacurl specialist for the best cut ever and use the Decadence No Poo and conditioner. Wen used to work pretty well for me, but the newer formulations have too much silicone and were starting to build up. It appears silicones are not good for my curls. Too much frizz. I do think the hair mask is amazing, but I can't justify the price. I'm waiting for the Vanilla Mint to be released. I just adore the smell and like to use it once in awhile. Unfortunately, the best Wen that worked on my hair was the Apple Spice. I hated the smell. Give the Devacurl a shot!

I can understand throwing out (or giving away) products that don't work for you but why throw away a product that is working for you because other people may be having a problem with it.

I see no reason to stop using something that works absolutely Wenderfully for me personally.

If I have any issues with WEN, I will make my own decisions, which will not be based on the gossip, attention seeking, or anxiety of people I don't even know.

TRied Wen many years ago. ACtually tried it a couple of times because with all the adoring comments it had I assumed that my failure to be impressed had something to do with me and not the product. As far as there being a learning curve and needing to try different formulas at the prices Wen commands I have better things to do with my money then throw away money on partially used bottles of a expensive hair product.

I too stopped using Wen. My scalp did burn after every color my hairdresser did. I tried pumpkin cleanser still burned after getting color applied. Finally I tried only using Wen at home no more after a color process. Oh yeah my hair dresser did show me the drain of hair fallout. I thought maybe stress and continued using . About a year later realized I wasn't stressed and it had to be Wen shampoo causing too much hair loss.

Instead of throwing mine out, I used my Wen up as shave cream for my legs, but that was long before the hair loss controversy. I just didn't like it and didn't get the results promised.

Wait a minute.....your scalp burned after hair coloring and you blame WEN? Interesting thought process.Hairdresser showed you hair in the drain, your scalp burned, and you continued to use the product. What else is interesting is that you used WEN for awhile and refer to WEN as "shampoo". I chat with a lot of WEN users and they all refer to it as CC-cleansing conditioner, because it definitely is NOT shampoo. You have a very interesting thought process .....I wish I was a trained psychologist at times like these. Then again, maybe some things are easier to figure out and don't require an advanced degree in order to do so.
