@ECBG  Yes indeed, ECBG! The start of Spring is my shopping season and this year I'm on the hunt for a coral or Springtime pink colored denim jacket and maybe a lightweight coral silk blouse. Smiley Happy

Talbots had one last year.  Since the Pantone color this year is "Peach Fizz", I bet they will have another!

@ECBG   Ooh thank you very much for the tip! Great point about the Peach Fizz color of the year- I'm going to be scooping up a couple of tops and sweaters in this pretty  Spring color! Smiley Very HappyHeart

@SportyShorty07    Thanks, I'll have to check out those corals from Essie and Clinique.

Your coral ring must be beautiful. I love angel skin coral.

I had a coral ring that I got in Bermuda and when arthritis enlarged my knuckles, I could not wear it anymore. I gave it to my daughter.

@Enufstuff Absolutely! Another pretty coral polish is OPI "Flex on the Beach"!  My coral rose shaped ring is very pretty- I'll have to post a photo of it online sometime.  I first saw it in a jewelry store when I was on a date with a guy and I wanted to try it on- he was really impatient and kept walking towards the door to leave so I told the owner that I'd come in another time.  Well, I forgot about that ring and suddenly woke up one morning 3 years later remembering it and thought, "If its meant to be, it'll still be there." I went all the way to across the city to the jewery store without knowing whether the ring was there or not and asked the owner if he still had the ring and he not only remembered me, but he took out the tray and gave me a discount on the exact ring Smiley Very HappyHeart.  Good times!  Your coral ring from Bermuda must be really pretty and how nice of you to give it to your daughter Smiley Happy.

@SportyShorty07   That is amazing! Imagine the ring being there three years later. That was really meant for you. With a discount too!   Smiley Happy

Re: I thought I was an autumn but maybe not.

@Enufstuff  It was wonderful and I had a good laugh with the owner and his wife because when I was looking at the coral ring, he asked if I was still dating that guy Smiley LOL! He remembered him and really didn't like how he was rushing me while I was looking at jewelry Smiley Very Happy.  I've purchased a couple of pieces from them over the past few years and they're always so nice to me.  That ring was definitely meant to be and I really treasure it Smiley Happy

Re: I thought I was an autumn but maybe not.

Love this thread! I had my colors done when I was in high school (tagged along with my mom and aunt) and I still have my summer swatch book! With the expanded seasons I’m a light summer, and looking back at my old swatch book all the colors that were “very good” or “excellent” are in the light summer palette.

Just thought I'd mention, Good Morning America did a segment on colors today,  You can probably find the segment on their site.

The OP sounds like a Soft Autumn.  Google dream-wardrobe dot com for the best explanation of color seasons I've come across.  They go into hair color, eye color, skin color, lipstick color palettes, and wardrobe color palettes.  Much more thorough than the CMB system.

I use the wardrobe color palettes as a guideline and my clothing is much more color coordinated.

I had my color done years ago with the CMB system, was told I was a Spring, then an Autumn.  I'm neither, I'm a soft, muted, warm Autumn but can wear some muted Spring colors.  I have hazel (light brown/green) eyes, dark blond hair, neutral to very slightly warm skin tone.  My gray hair coming in has a decided warm tone to it, almost platinum blonde, not white or steel gray.  It looks like I've had blond highlights put in, but, nope, it's my gray hair.

I took their quiz and I already knew I was an Autumn, but just wanted to be sure, and I am........
