I think I'm throwing in the towel with Remoist

I have tried it several times, gone through 3 jars of it. I have tried priming my hair, not priming my hair. I have tried leaving it on for 45 minutes and leaving it on all night. It just doesn't do anything for me. I will stick to my oil treatments instead. Anyone else not love Remoist?

Because my hair is not chemically treated remoist was too much for me. Even the oils I use sparingly. However, I use remoist as my eye, upper lip & neck treatments. It is super moisturizing & dries down beautifully! Works as well as any other treatment products I've used.

Re: I think I'm throwing in the towel with Remoist

I can't say that I've noticed much of a difference with my hair. I only do it every few weeks but I do leave it in all night. My older daughter, on the other hand, after leaving it in just an hour I notice a huge difference with her hair. It's so much shiner, smooth and brushing it is like butter. Her hair is already thick and shiny where mine is thin and fine. It just seems so unfair lol It might just be the formula, we have POM. The POM CC works great for me though...

I get better results from using the Fig CC as a mask. I'm finishing my ReMoist by using it as a leave-in. I love how soft it makes my course hair, especially when I add oil to it!

Get your flu shot...because I didn't.

I feel I get much better results from oil treatments and coconut oil. I try to do each once a week. I've seen much more growth from using the oils and the coconut oil makes my hair look amazing.

It didn't do anything more for my hair either. I even slept with it on a couple of times.

I probably will not get it again.

Re: I think I'm throwing in the towel with Remoist

I amassed a collection of Re-moist from buying multiples of a TSV a couple of years ago. My hair doesn't get terribly dry. It fine texture, medium thickness. I was doing Re-moist treatments regularly because I had the stuff, not because I needed to repair anything. I ended up giving several jars to my daughter and now I only do them when I get a color/heavy highlighting service done. I'm almost out of them and probably won't reorder. On a daily basis, I get plenty of moisture from my CC's and overnight oil treatments 2-3 times per week. If I ever have a problem, I think leaving some CC on longer will do the trick for me.

Nope...I have tried it and did not see a big difference....the oils are my saving grace!

Re: I think I'm throwing in the towel with Remoist

I have honestly never used it as directed, but I have used it as a leave in and it was okay, and I have left it in for about fifteen minutes. It just isn't my deal to leave something on my hair that long/sleep in it damp. I am saving it for someday.

If I foiled my hair again or it got too much sun then I might be desperate enough to try it but my hair looks and feels fine so it sits in a closet waiting for someday. Or waiting to trade with someone who loves it. Or give it away next time I clean house. It is a good size for a doorstop.

I can tell a slight difference with the remoist. I do like the oils better.
