I may eat my words HAHA but since Oct. I've been testing out only using oils on omy skin.

The main one I am using is a combo of Cold Pressed Black Seed Oil, Cold Pressed Castor Oil, Cold Pressed Rosehip Oil, at night I add in Bakuchiol.

For now I just want to keep it simple but I may play around with other oils (no scents).

I am using it as a cleanser too. I'm still using my acid pads after cleansing and prior to oil but I'm really liking the simple routine.

Things have gotten SO expensive, not just skin care, everything around us and I had to find a way to cut back. So far, this is working and I'm seen improvement in my skin, my husband even complimented me and said I have a glow but not an oily like glow. I do use a tad bit of cream blush as well.

I just wanted to share since I've given it a few month and still really enjoying it and the cost savings!!

My skin has never looked better though I've always looked younger, and even recently while at my senior community pool someone mentioned your to young to live here lol of course shared I'm not to young. However back to your point agree with you until recently Perlier Youth Oil $39.00 normally $149.00 never would pay that but for $39.00 auto delivery ordered loving the results. There's a thread here in beauty. Many sharing positive results. I also attribute skin health with my lifestyle. Today NassifMD pads arrive this was another excellent special my first time trying. My skin care routine is simple agree with you do what works best for your lifestyle, and finances. 💞

@Nana2158   That is wonderful!! I've always taken good care of my skin (minus the tanning beds back in the 80s...grrr) can't change that now.  I love the NassifMD pads, those are the pads I use. I'm on auto delivery for set of 3 for under 50!!

I'm curious about the Youth Oil, I'll check it out. Thx for sharing.

@cindyNC  Not dense!  I have an oil from Etsy already combined and I add the Bakuchiol on its own at night, I just put them all on together.

I so admire Rose Marie Swift's skin, and she does a very basic routine with her mist, moisturizer, and oil. 

I'm not there, I still enjoy doing my routines.

I learned the hard way that anything that harshly exfoliates (manual or chemical) is something I can't use often if ever.  A lot of "anti-aging" breaks me out like crazy.

I can use a non-harsh serum, a light moisturizer some nights and that's about it.  My skin looks great for my age.  I think you can't fight some skin--it is what it is.
