I've let my hair get totally out of control, and I need an intervention. I'm a "young" 60s and used to have ultra-short hair. I started to grow it out about 3 years ago. The first actual style I had was a bob (shorter in the back). That grew out to around chin level with no discerning style. Now, it's below my shoulders in the back and the top/front is almost chin level. It's wavy with a potential for frizziness; there's a lot of hair. I usually use hot rollers to smooth it out. For months now, I've worn a headband or clip the top up off my face because I can't take it when it gets in my eyes. I'm in a rut. I want a hair cut, but I don't know how to explain what I want. Any suggestions from hairdressers or anyone would be greatly appreciated.
