@monicakm   It is so you to bring your beautiful Dior pink lipgloss with you in the ambulance- you're even glamorous in an emergency.  You will make it through this, you lovely and pretty lady! We're all rooting for you and I bet the nurses and doctors love you as a patient already.  You can do this, stay strong! I'm going to do ethereal glowy makeup looks and wear my Too Faced lip gloss in honor of you this week.  We're rooting and praying for you!

@monicakm - I am so sorry to hear this.  It must've been such a shock and frightening time for you.  But you're surely in good hands and will be looked after.

Then you need to take care of yourself. Listen to your doctor's advice and know that many here will be thinking of you and praying for your full recovery.

@monicakm  Oh wow, sure hate to hear this! We went through this with my FIL x 2 different times, and he's now 90 and still going strong.

Look at it this way, you took a licking and it's still ticking and that's GREAT news! Hope you are back to 100% ASAP

speaking of shopping when you're drugged up in the hospital..yeah I did that once. In 2001. Receiving heavy narcotic pain meds. Watching a shopping channel, I believe it was ValuVision. Jewelry! I asked the housekeeper, dietary staff, nurses if they would "go in" on some expensive jewelry with me. So we could share. 😁Haha. Eventually someone helpfully handed me my purse and the ordering began. 
When I was back home and little packages started arriving, I literally had zero memory of ordering those things. Of course I returned all of it.
