@monicakm  I am so very sorry that you had a heart attack.  You are such a treasured person to your loved ones and to everyone on these QVC forums.  You bring a lot of joy to people. You are resilient, glamorous, beautiful, fun and warm.  We are all rooting for you and please use your time in the hospital to rest and relax.

@monicakm I am shocked and sad to hear this!  You are one feisty gal and I know you have what it takes to do your part.  My prayers are that the medical staff uses good judgement and discernment in your treatment.  Also, praying for strength and healing for you.

So sorry you are going through this! (And glad that you're keeping us updated)  Try not to worry - Cardiologists are miracle workers nowadays. 

SIL had a heart attack at age 40 and is now in her 70s and going strong.  My dad had many heart issues in his lifetime including stents and a quintuple bypass.  Each procedure gave him a new lease on life.  He lived until his mid 80s and would have gone on longer if not for losing my mom and then his house (Hurricane Katrina) in the same year.  

Sending prayers that this is just a bump in the road for you!

My thoughts are with you as you go through this.

But my thoughts have been on you for a couple of weeks. Why?

Philadelphia has been going through a period of excessive retail looting. There's security camera video of looters entering a beauty supply store and grabbing everything -- except the palettes. It's been shown again and again, and every time I see it I think "What would @monicakm tell these people?"
