@MercysMom  If your hair needs to smell "fresher", add a few drops of rose water to your water spritz bottle. Are you using a microfiber towel? That's also a must for curly hair to prevent breakage and frizz.

@Shanus

That's a great idea. Thank you!  No, I'm using a regular towel. Never thought about it, but I'll look for one tonight.

Can you recommend a good masque? Preferably something I can get at the drug store or Ulta.

I use an old t-shirt instead of a microfiber towel. Cheap (since I already had lots) and some microfiber towels snag and frizz my hair even more than regular towels. Flour sack kitchen towels are also good for preventing frizz.

Thanks for my morning chuckle!  I've never heard it called "Hot Flash Hair" before.  How perfect is that?!?!?!

I also use either old t shirts or flour sack towels.

@MercysMom. Hi. (At drugstore)...I use Shea Moisture Masque...sometimes even sleep in it & rinse out in shower in the morning.

I ended up cutting my hair in a pixie when I started having hot flashes. My head would get totally soaked with prespiration.
