I'm Sure We ALL Know To Remove Makeup @ Night

But in case you need a refresher course as to what it can do, here is a James Welsh video.  Just paste the title in the YT search bar.  The very few times I've done this (in my younger years), I was guaranteed a pimple.

This Is Why You Should Remove Your Makeup EVERY NIGHT

Re: I'm Sure We ALL Know To Remove Makeup @ Night

@monicakm   Thanks for this video & reminder.

It may sound fanatical, (but that's okay, for me!)

.....  but I use a "clean pillowcase" (side) EVERY night.

.. The face has soooo much, such incredible amt of "bacteria!!"  I dont want "last night's," or last week's "face bacteria" put back on my face again, ...   let alone, last night's "used" ..  "face, bedtime prep."

When I'm not lazy abt this.. I have NO breakups, what so ever....   NO milia.. nothing!   Complexion clear as glass.. (given I'm using the correct AM/PM prep regimen)

(oh.. and i use white pillowcases... (no pillowcase dyes on the face either))

I know... yup... fanatical.... okay...

(I wish I was smart abt this, when my younger brother was young, and struggled with horrid breakouts, constantly!  And the scorn he suffered during school, at the hands of classmates... .. and with dating.. whew)

Feelings are simply human
How we deal with, ..or express those feelings .. is our choice
. ~ . Please be kind . ~ .

Do whatever works for you Smiley Happy

I use a silk pillow case.

It's better for your face and hair.

In fact, I've been wanting to order another one,

I think I will.

@monicakm so do I. Unlike cotton, silk won't absorb your skin care products off your face and it won't harbor bacteria the way cotton does.

I just replaced two of my silk pillowcases because the zippers wore out. The pillowcases themselves were fine. I bought the envelope style this time - no zippers to break.

@Texasmouse

The envelope style would be easier to put on the pillow.  Mine has a hidden zipper and it can be hard to get zipped sometimes.

This is the one I have.  Don't know if I want to match it or compliment it.  What would  you do?

@monicakm I'd pick one of the colors in that pattern to compliment it.

Thanks.  I look for a pink (but not too light)

@monicakm

I shall confess...we went out Saturday night for my birthday & stayed out much later than our normal bedtime.  When we got home, I barely had the energy to pottie before bed, much less removeth thy make-up.  Yes, I went to bed with it ON!  I woke up Sunday morning & promptly removed it.

Which color?  Ivory to match the background of the existing pillow or pink?

My carpet is the this ivory white color.
